'I enjoyed my stay here in the hotel. Room was comfortable and had all the facilities needed. Only drawback was that the location so close with the main road in the morning was a bit noisy and that the facility closed quite early for dinner, but that seems to be normal in Australia. '

'We had a great overnight stay. It was clean, tidy, and very comfortable throughout. The highlight for our family was definitely the heated indoor pool. Having pool towels provided made it super easy and convenient. We also really appreciated the water filters/fountains, which were a nice touch (and helps the environment) The location was great, and we found parking around the hotel to be easy and hassle-free. Overall, a very family-friendly option and we’d happily stay again.'

'Lovely property. Super efficient check in and check out. Wonderful breakfast and tea and coffee available throughout the day. The room itself was spotless and perfect for a short stay. The bathroom is fantastic and large. The pool looked very inviting but we did not have time to try it this time around. Cannot fault the hotel. Will absolutely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay. 'The reason why they lost a star is because of 1 staff member. She told us our room was not ready and she will call us when it was ready. So we went for a walk. But the call never came. Our room was ready & we did not know till after we tried to check in again. Otherwise the restaurant (food & staff), the pool & other amenities were excellent. Everything i would expect from the Crowne.'

'Goed hotel voor zeer acceptabele prijs in een mooi park. Vlakbij baai van Geelong. Receptie was overigens onderbemand, slechts 1 dame die alles tegelijk moest doen. '

'We had one of the older pet friendly cabins. While it was very clean and the bed comfortable the cabin didn't smell great. The kitchen facilities are new. We were close to the highway and it was noisy and the blinds do not cover the window completely so don't block the bright streetlights. In April it was warm enough, but the windows were draughty so I imagine it would be very cold in winter. The shower was nice and hot though!'

'The Torquay Hotel has an excellent location, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks—everything we tried was great. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel warm and easy. The room itself, however, was very old and definitely in need of updating. While it seemed generally clean, the carpets were quite worn and felt a bit gross. The bathroom had good water pressure, which was a plus, but the windows had a lot of spider webs around them, even though they were high...

'Absolutely fabulous. This property was so clean and tidy and beautiful decorated.The little bar came with complimentary wine, granola, a fresh loaf of bread, jams and honey,tea, coffee and hot chocolate the fridge was stocked with yogurt juice and milk and butter. This was so good to have because once you get there you don’t want to leave. We had a view of the olive grove and relaxed on the deck as the sun set in the background. The air conditioning was quiet , the shower was big enough for two....

'We stayed in a seaside cabin. We have stayed in cabins all over Australia. This was the most expensive yet! Cabin requires a lot of work. Drain in bathroom floor quite exposed. Broken tiles. Couldn't close screen doors properly due to erosion from sea air. No chopping board provided. Rail on bunk very wonky. Kitchen cupboards awkward access. Shower door dangerous when trying to bath children. Location fantastic and views amazing, however state of cabin, for the fees charged needs reviewing.'
