'Exceptional view, great environment & accommodation with wonderful hosts - thank you! Had curtains and windows wide open all night - sounds of the sea will be a long term memory of our stay in NZ & saw a greart sunrise. Please don't be put off by the external bathroom - it is via a short covered walkway & very well fitted out - made us both grin at 0200hrs - not an incovenience at all! if only we could have stayed longer!'

'This was one of the best hotel experiences I ever had. The lady at the front desk was extremely pleasant. The fresh milk bottle was very nice touch. The room was extremely clean with attention to all the small details. The area is very quiet and walkable. I would totally stay there again if I end up planning another trip in the future with highly recommended to my fellow travelers.'

'Overall a good motel, but the accomodation is a bit outdated and cold in winter (buildings lack insulation). Friendly owners though!'

'The host's were very welcoming and the best weve had in all our bookabach stays. Super nice and great to talk to, whether it was a casual chat or communication with staying. Very clean andopen space, lovely dogs too.'

'Such lovely staff. Real friendly. I had gotten there just after 11a as the winery I wanted to go to was closed and they had just finished my room and let me in. So I changed into my bikini and went for a scenic drive with 2 short hikes and swim. The place is well situated and the bed linen is super comfy. This was my favourite day on this trip so far. Gisborne has so much to offer. '
