'Poachers Paradise is a fabulous motel. The owners are very friendly and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Parking is right outside your room. The motel is a minute's walk from the centre of town. What a lovely place Rutherglen is. There are a few bars and restaurants and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. There are also plenty of shops and cafes. Thoroughly recommend both the Poachers Paradise Motel and Rutherglen. Ask in the hotel bar on the main street why it's called the...

'Het hotel bestaat uit 12 units. De buitenlant van het hotel is versierd met knipperende lampjes die op The Strip in Vegas niet zouden misstaan. Ontbijt moet je vooraf opgeven en bestaat uit 2 sneetjes brood en wat cerials. De keuze wit/bruin, cornflakes/korrels mag je zelf maken. Voor een doorreis is het ok. '

'Great place for a stop over. If you like marshmallow beds this is for you. Room decor outdated but reasonably clean. Only issue we had was the carpark behind with noise after 12am. Receptionist at checkin was lovely and helpful.'
