'It is a new property. There is construction still going on in adjacent units. The apartment was warm and cozy, perfect for winter. Hot water supply was very good. 'Hostel El Refugio had all the comforts of home including a warm hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable beds with fresh linens in a private room, and private bathrooms. My visit was during fall when temps were colder. The hostel was always warm after a day outdoors. The owner Luis was very kind and accommodating, making sure you have everything for a perfect visit. 'We had a wonderful time here! The receptionists were incredibly helpful, making the check-in process a breeze. 'Lee and his wife made our stay here incredible. They were so kind and gave excellent recommendations for shops and restaurants in town. They made the entire process smooth including the airport to hotel transfer, check in, helping coordinate taxis for us, gave advice for our hiking in Torres del Paine and provided wonderful breakfast and amenities. 'We were so impressed with DT Loft. We stayed here for 5 nights while we explored and did some hiking in TDP. The loft had everything we needed to cook ourselves some meals (even essentials like oil and salt).
