'We had started our vacation at a LaQuinta in Corpus Christi. The pics looked great, but when we arrived it was obvious there was a problem with that motel and after two day of misery, we were finally able to leave there. I found the Plantation Suites by accident and we were able to stay here for our last night. What a difference. We went from a 5 star dumpster fire to an outstanding facility. 'We enjoyed our stay and were perfectly comfortable in our little tent. I would describe this as a kind of hostel. Shared bathrooms but it was not crowded so easy to find a vacant one when needed. Enjoyed talking to other visitors. The deck is absolutely the best thing about this place. Always a breeze up there and fun to people watch or catch a glimpse of ships coming out from the channel. '
