'This is not a hotel. Just room rental. Reception limited opening times. Contact phone adverted outside on reception no working, probably not even existing .No breakfast. No restaurant, no nothing '

'It’s very dated and gives domitory style accommodation. Walls are very thin and I could hear everything in the next room and corridor. I could hear a man in an adjuscent room snore the whole night. Staff are not available onsight after-hours. I had to walk a very long way from my room to get hot water/tea and use the microwave which is in the common room, because the taps closest to me were broken. My room was full of ants and the bathroom tiles are brown with stains. Bed not so comfortable but...

'I chose to stay at The Golden Pebble for its location and price. On checkin I was very pleasantly surprised that the price did not reflect the excellent accommodation, fantastic value for money, and a great onsite restaurant.'
