Direct oceaan 1 bed / 1 bad volledig ingerichte eenheid op Boardwalk Resort. Deze accommodatie heeft een woonkamer aan de oceaan en een balkon. Dit is de enige handicap toegankelijke eenheid in het resort. Andere kenmerken zijn 2 queensize bedden in de slaapkamer, een keuken met fornuis, magnetron, grote koelkast, koffiezetapparaat, broodrooster en alles wat nodig is om te koken. Er zijn ook 2 flatscreen-tv's en draadloos internet. Boardwalk biedt een scala aan voorzieningen, waaronder binnen- en buitenzwembaden, bubbelbaden, Lazy River, kinderzwembad en een grasveld aan de oceaan.     We had a wonderful time. There were a few downsides but we didn't let that effect us. The room furniture was very dirty and not as pictured. The pull sofa bed was broken and unusable. We were unable to use the lazy river all week due to it being dirty. They finally cleaned it our last day there. Booo! The view from the room is SPECTACULAR. Rufia was very responsive with any questions we had.

    The condo was close to several things such as restaurants, stores, etc.; however, the Boardwalk Resort was a little disappointing. For example there was no restrooms at the pool nor was there towels as we have come to expect while staying at the resorts down there. We too were a little surprised on the lack of security on the pool especially given it is right by a public entrance to the beach. While it had gates they were not code locked as again as expected as other resorts. Elevator access was security coded and was impressed on the speed of them as we didn’t have to wait long anytime. The condo itself did have pretty much what you needed in the kitchen which was great as we tend to cook every day. Only down side was no real storage for food but we made do with a closet shelf. There was 3 adults and was just right amount of space. I wouldn’t go more than 4 adults even though it slept 8. Or a couple adults with a few children would be ok. While the condo was okay, we probably would not stay at the resort again as we really missed not having a washer and dryer available.

    Ocean Front w/ Good Location

    The property was clean and in a great location. Unfortunately, the unit pictures did not represent the unit well. Most all living room furniture had been changed out, and according to the pictures on VRBO, not necessarily for the better. The actual furniture in the unit appeared to be much older with a totally different 70"s kind of style. Although adequate, it was not extremely comfortable and certainly not as inviting and beachy looking as the online pictures portrayed it to be.Our biggest disappointment was the daily construction at the complex itself, and on what appeared to be a new ocean outfall pipe on the beach, in front of the complex, not the unit itself. This could have been, or should have been mentioned as these were and are ongoing lengthy projects, not just the 1 or 2 day quick in and out type of work, of which I'm sure the owners, complex administrators/managers, vendors, etc. were made well aware of.....The horrendous, earth shaking noise was the absolute worst and continued daily from approximately 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., except on Sunday. If not for the fact that we were mainly only there for bathing and sleeping (in the unit itself), we wouldn't have been able to handle it. We never complained or contacted the owner, as what could have been done at that point? In all fairness however I did think it relative to mention in an honest review of the property.

    Pictures online make it look bigger. Murphy bed could feel spring. Pools suck and were filthy and dingy. Elevators didnt work one day, and construction going on, and started at 9am everyday. But clean and was perfect location. Nice view and enough room for a family of 5

    Overall we had a fabulous vacation stay.

    On a positive note the condo was as described and was equipped and furnished exactly as described and we expected. The location is perfect… it’s very conveniently located within a 15-20 minute walk to the Boardwalk via street or beach and it’s also within a 10 minutes to buy any necessities and a decent selection of restaurants and grocery stores, several mini putts and souvenir shops. The condo pools and grounds were maintained daily and were very well cleaned and manicured. Everyday we would see staff attending the pools and hot tubs which was very refreshing!! The only two things that were only a little annoying to us but maybe more annoying to another renter is that the beds are in need of updating they were not comfortable and you see the coils through the sheets. I need to mention that the bed linens were clean and the pillows were very comfortable!! Also when the remnants of Hurricane Helene barreling through there was about a 4 inch piece of caulking missing around the air conditioner in our unit which normally wouldn’t be a big deal or even noticed but with the wind force had rain seeping through the crack which we easily contained by using towels (we only had so many towels supplied to us for the week). We contacted the owner immediately and we were disappointed that they didn’t respond to us until the following morning. If we hadn’t been there to stay on top of the leak the water would’ve been all over the floor and carpet. Also we saw “non guests” on the premises.

    We enjoyed our visit to the area and the rental provided us with everything we needed. It was as exactly as described in the listing. The host was very easy to work with and accommodating to our request for an early check in -which pleased my grandchildren.

    Inflexible Property Manager

    Property manager, Rufia Nigro, was incredibly inflexible and had no empathy during a time when travel to Myrtle Beach was restricted. I never asked for any of my money back - just some flexibility in dates. The property manager was willing to let me arrive early, but showed no grace to shorten our stay or move our travel dates. I was traveling with my children to an area that expected to experience dangerous flooding. My flights were cancelled and I would not have had a car upon arrival to Myrtle Beach. Rather than show compassion and understanding, all the propery manager did was take my money. She even refused to talk with me over the phone, stating that she "avoids talking to people over the phone because they are mean to her sometimes." Definitely will never book with this property manager in the future.

    Great vacation spot

    This was exactly as advertised. We had an excellent time. Love it! The only reason it got a 4 star and not a 5 is for two reasons. 1. It was not central air. It was like bad motel air that was under the windows. It was noisy and clunked on and off all night, with a bed right next to it. 2. The pool didn’t open until 10. And that was if they were done cleaning it. One day we couldn’t get into the pool until 11. Which seems late to me. Also, the lazy river barely moved.i get the lazy river should be a little lazy but this was the slowest lazy river ever.

    Very happy with Boardwalk 338

    The location was very good, close enough to the heart of the beach but far enough away that it wasn't too busy. The building was clean, quiet, and the elevators were quick. We enjoyed the lawn area with the many lounge chairs and tables under the trees. The unit was VERY clean when we arrived and was well stocked with everything we needed. Dealing with Rufia, the owner, was excellent. She replied very quickly to the questions we had and had her handyman come by right away to make a small repair that was needed. We will definitely consider this unit again for another trip to Myrtle Beach.

    Good Location, Great View

    We were able to park in the adjacent lot and walk everywhere, so that really made an impact on our trip. The complex seemed well kept from the outside. The room was clean and was great for a long weekend. The view of the ocean from our balcony was wonderful. Our adolescent son generally used only the outdoor pools, which were great after they were cleaned on the second day we were there. The only suggestion would be to have better property management/on-site support to ensure pool users are actually staying there. Myrtle Beach is a wonderful place for families.

    The room was just as described and shown in the photos. The location was walking distance to boardwalk and a short drive to broadway. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to use the same service again.
