'We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. 'the Dragonfly Ranch is an awesome place, well decorated in alternative style, and very clean. I personally clicked very well with the people working there. They serve dinner and breakfast straight from the organic garden and have great cooks. The bed sheets are smooth and comfortable and one of the best snorkeling bays of the big island (two steps) is about a mile away. They also have snorkeling gear. It still feels like i made friends with the people working there. RECOMMENDED'

'Great B&B! Owner had prompt communication and provided several helpful tips. Loved having an our own private Hale which was outfitted with all the essentials including comfortable King bed. Kitchenette had mini-fridge with freezer. toaster-oven & microwave, coffee & tea in the room plus custom ordered breakfast (egg sandwich, omelette, or waffles) that came with a delicious papaya fruit bowl delivered to the room. 'Kurt and Kana were wonderful hosts. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay with them! Kana made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. We got to try lots of tropical fruits they grew on their land, and the coffee was amazing. It was so peaceful and quiet, we could hear the waves from the few miles away the beach is.
