'This is one of the most beautiful properties we’ve stayed in our rather extensive international travels in the past two decades — quiet, stylish, elegant and aesthetic, more like an art museum with books, paintings, sculptures, historical train models. It locates inside a national park and directly connected to a very private lake. Most impressive is its staff who are so kind, patient, profesional, putting extra efforts into making our stay enjoyable. Many guests stayed there were Japanese and...

'Very smooth check-in. The place was really beautiful. The location was good, too. Quick walk to the red brick area. 20 minute walk to the ropeway. We were there in June, and didn't need to use the fire place, but the smell of woodsmoke was there.

'I personally have an issue with noisy walkers, so if your on the first floor you'll definitely hear people stomping through their room from above. Our room was okay. We had a bathroom, but was surprised in two ways. I thought upon entry there was no bathroom because of the layout (small). But there was a door that led to a bathroom that was a pretty good size. It needs a little bit of update, but it worked well. I'm american and the windows were cool. I didn't realize how it worked until...
