'The staff was absolutely incredible and the breakfast and suppers were amazing. This was the highlight of our trip! A lot of things can be walkable within the towns, but a car makes more sense for any of the heritage sites. There is only one restaurant open until 8:00 pm that is about a 9 minute walk, but everything else closes pretty early. Stocking up on supplies is a must - but 10/10 recommend eating at this Ryokan! Everything was amazing. '

'Room was excellent in size and cleanliness. Staff was also very courteous and helpful most of the time. The dining room staff was outstanding. The one major faux pas was that my misplaced her walking cane somewhere in the hotel during our initial check in. We were staying for four nights but the cane was not found. However, two days later, we received an email indicating they had located the cane. The message did not indicate where the item was located but we were leaving Japan in two days so...
