Charmant appartement, neoristrutturato, rustig, gelegen in een typisch Napolitaanse populaire wijk "Wonderen", dat een strategische ligging heeft, omdat een korte wandeling van de belangrijkste attracties van de oude stad en de beide metrolijnen en de kortste en de oude route het verbindt de historische centrum met de heuvel van Capodimonte. Good apartment

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was a small surprise for us that Italy uses a different outlet than the Netherlands. Mirko gave us all the information required and more, and even gave us advice on where to eat and what to do! We had an amazing time in Napels

Nice apartment, very friendly host, parents with small kids - please read the full review

Nicely furnished and clean apartment. Excellent Air conditioning, spacious cupboard, large bathroom (but small bath cubicle) and well equipped kitchen. Easily suitable for upto 4 adults. Mirko was a wonderful host. Price was reasonable but it matches the location and facilities. Apartment is 10 mins walk from Piazza Cavour station which is a nice connecting point for public transport. Apartment is located near the top of a hill. So, whilst its suitable for adults, if you are travelling with children and have a buggy / pram, then it gets difficult to get back to the apartment as you need to climb uphill on cobbled roads which is not easy. Also, as the streets are narrow, taxis dont come upto the apartment but drop you some distance away and you need to walk from there. Thankfully for us, Mirko picked us and also dropped us back in the airport. TV and Steam Iron were not present and can be considered as possible improvements to the apartment. Overall good for individual groups or couples; if you are travelling with small children and depend on public transport, then consider the uphill climb back.

Mold on Walls

Apartment was mostly clean, but strong smell of mold and obvious mold on ceiling of one bedroom. It caused and my companions throats to burn, so we moved the second bed into room closer to window. The area is a bit sketchy (that is the reputation of the neighborhood in general) but we had no issues. My party made sure to be home before dark. Kitchen was good, owner was responsive. One bed had stained bedsheet.

Lovely base to return to after a day out in Napoli

Spacious, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and really good communication! Would just warn those looking to book that this property is at the top of a very steep hill with lots of steps (about 12:15 mins a walking) and taxi driver was unwilling to take us up to the top due to narrow streets.

A bit of a hike!

The apartment was just as told on website, however, the taxi will NOT go up the hill... so it is a bit of a hike up to get back and if it is 40 degrees like it was when we were there... you are soaked and tired when you get home. The aircon was AWESOME!!!

it was fine

It was a steep climb from the metro station even with not much luggage was difficult. It was scary going up the narrow dirty street with mopeds wizzing from left and right. None of fotos from outside match the street where the apartment was. The neighbourhood looked really sketchy. The shower drain needs to be fixed; kitchen utencils were minimal. It was clean and there was coffee and bodywash provided. Communication was little too overbearing for me 25 whatsapp messages with tourist and restaurant suggestions i didnt ask for. Its definetly not suitable for 4 people - the two separate beds looked really uncomfortable and if sleeping there you need to go through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom.

L’appartement est très agréable et bien équipé, la Clim, en particulier, a été très appréciée. Le seul bémol est l’emplacement qui demande, à chaque retour à l’appartement, une marche en montée de 10 à 15 minutes.

Great apartment with a few quibbles

The apartment was clean and tidy. There were one or two gripes. There wasn't a kettle in the kitchen so we used the hob to boil water for coffee in the morning. Halfway through the holiday, the host offered to clean the apartment but at our cost and said that the linen change is scheduled regularly at no cost We said that we would keep the apartment clean during our stay. However, there was no linen change during our entire 2 week stay which we found strange. Apart from that, we had a good stay.

Situé en haut de la Sanita. Calme mais difficile d’accès pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Quartier typique et populaire très proche de Piazza Cavour, et de la Sanita commerçante. Quelques efforts à faire pour l’équipement de cuisine qui est trop juste pour une famille. Mais bon, autant manger à l’extérieur lorsque nous sommes à Naples !

Appartement difficile à trouver, propreté salle de bain et vaisselle mauvaise. J'ai du faire la vaisselle avant de manger, une casserole inutilisable tellement de calcaire, poêle à 2 doigts de casser, appartement très sombre et tres petit. Quartier style "cour des miracles". Naples a de beaux bâtiments et sites à visiter mais c'est très bruyant, tres sale. Mieux vaut prendre un hébergement à Caserta qui n'est qu'à 30 minutes en train. Bref tres déçue de l'hébergement et de l'ambiance.

Unique experience in Napoli

A very difficult description...communication and support by Mirko was really very good and helpful. Seeing all the good recommendations on this side, i decided to book for us as a family with two little kids in February. The environment around os very authentic, we haven't seen any other non Italians around in a week (just in that part to be clear). Perfect location to walk from and explore the city. The negative points yet need to be mentioned. The shower is very small and you cant really close the curtain sufficiently so everything tends to be very wet afterwards. The last one to shower doesn't get enough warm water either. (We hurried anyways but just not enough). The kitchen equipment is very poor, by far the smallest and oddest equipment I've ever had in my travel life, I mean take like 50Euros to a big swedish company and buy some stuff 😉 Most negative point was unfortunately the heating. It gets quite chilly in those evenings and nights. Although Mirko explained how it should work, the heating switched itself every half hour of (kind of a backup issue), so there should be some improvement. In a short, very helpful and nice host, no doubt about that but not really recommended for a family with little kids. We enjoyed our stay anyway.

Local flavour in Centro Historico

My stay at Mirko’s place in Sanità was wonderful. The location is near all the Centro historico sights you can easily get anywhere from the Piazza Cavour. Yet it is off the beaten track and staying here will immerse you the neighbourhood like a real Neapolitan. The Sanità area is real deal. The apartment is large enough and has all the amenities you will need. It was renovated a while ago, so expect local down to earth simplicity. There is a lovely view of mount Vesuvius from the master bedroom window. The communication Mirko was easy and he was very accommodating. He was very helpful and did all to make sure I had a great trip.
