'This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.'

'Shimmering Cove was a beautiful setting for our family vacation! The house was spotless and the kitchen fully equipped, and we really appreciated the fans in every room. 'We stayed just after storms had came through the area so understandably some of the property's attributes were not accessable to us. The floating dock was pulled out of the water and placed on the beach area, which didn't leave too much bank area for fishing, and obstructed the view of the water from the chair swing.
