Was a perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing stay!! If you have a vehicle, it was also a perfect driving distance to historic downtown Franklin, Leiper's Fork, Nashville and exploring the beautiful country side. The bunkhouse was comfortable, the shower had amazing water temperature and pressure and the history of the music studio was very interesting and exciting to know the musicians that have recorded there. It will be my first choice for our next visit!

The Dark Horse Studio bunk house was a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful, the room was very comfortable and everyone was very kind and delightful. I also enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere.

This is the second time staying at Dark Horse. We enjoy the isolated beautiful countyside and tranquility of the property. Other than the unexpected cold temperatures making the bunkhouse very cold, we enjoyed our visit and plan to return in the summer of 2025!

Executive Retreat

We utilized this property for a meeting for our Executive Leadership Team. The set-up of the house and all the bedrooms / bathrooms worked perfect for our team and is so beautiful. Robin, Austin and Emily were amazing to work with and were super responsive! We will definitely be back!

This was the most peaceful and enjoyable accommodations. Such welcome hosts- we felt very cared for. The location was perfect - with so much to enjoy just minutes away. Nashville was only 30 min away - but this property was the perfect TN experience. Loved Dark Horse Recording Studio!

My wife and I had a great time in Franklin staying at the Dark Horse Recording Studio! Stayed in the bunkhouse and just loved it. Austin was very friendly and helpful. We brought our dog Cooper and it was a great place for a dog lots of land for him to roam and explore. We meet Robin the owner who was also very friendly and nice. Such a neat setting not one you find very often. Would recommend to anyone for a great get away from the ordinary! Thanks Dark Horse team we loved it! Jim

Perfect getaway!

Another great Vrbo experience

I am always looking for unusual places to stay other than the big hotel chains. My experiences this year vacation traveling staying in Vrbo homes and in this case at a recording studio where great musicians have recorded was a wonderful opportunity. Lovely, peaceful place

The property is beautiful and very peaceful. We loved having a cup of coffee on our private porch in the morning. Communication with manager Robin was a great! We really enjoyed touring the studio spaces and having musicians around. The town of Franklin is nearby and so charming! Nashville is also within striking distance. We will be back!!!

Awesome retreat in Franklin

The property is super cool and a totally different experience. Our 5 year old loved the bunk beds in the bunkhouse room. The walkout porch allowed us to drink coffee outside and watch out little boy play in the yard. We could definitely hear music coming from the studio above on Friday night, but it was welcomed and enjoyed!! Robin was a gracious and friendly host and we look forward to returning.
