For the price I was expecting something 5 star when the place was so outdated it was more like a 1 star. There were stains on the wall from old pictures and the place just needs a huge update. We stayed there because our high school was staying there for basketball tournament but there were nicer motels in the area for half the price of what we paid

The one good thing I can say is the desk help were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is dated and in need of an overhaul. Sanitizer trays outside of elevators need a good scrubbing, caked on dirt. Restaurant was very slow for hamburgers and fries, food was good surprisingly considering the lack of customers in restaurant. Carpet needs to be pulled up and redone. I would not recommend anyone staying there. It is in a good location to get to things, so you should consdiering updating. Oh and ladybugs in the bathroom. Weird.

Mixed bag of tricks
This is a pretty decent hotel overall. The pillows and towels were excellent, and the water was hot and stable (unlike at the other hotel we stayed at in Murfeeesboro this week). My only complaints are that the ice machine on the fifth floor did not work, we never got towels on the second day even though the clerk said she would send us some, and our room was never cleaned in the three days we stayed there.

Hmm, no
Hotel is older and dated. It was clean but not well dusted in the old nooks and crannies. Restaurant on site but ran out of food for dinner. Hotel charges for breakfast so we went out for coffee. Good news is Starbucks and Panera each a block away. For $200 for one night it is not convenient or a very good deal.

Front desk needs to learn to make eye contact and definitely need to learn phone skills, person in question may have been in training I hope. Room was clean and very comfortable. All other staff was very friendly. With the price of the rooms, feel breakfast bar should be included.

We upped our budget from a Fairfield or Hampton expecting nicer accommodations and amenities in a DoubleTree. This property is very dated. The food and beverage services are disappointing. While relaxing in bed my wife was startled by something crawling across her body. She leapt out of bed and we found the offending insect, see photo. The night auditor handled it well and got us a similar room. We moved in the middle of the night. 0 stars, will never return to this property and the DoubleTree brand is forever tainted for us.

Very quiet. Very centrally located. Room and other areas mostly clean. Had a cleaning agent smell in room that was there even after a week. Room furniture was a little shabby.
