30 minuten van Downtown Nashville en dicht bij winkels, restaurants en lokale locaties. Minuten van verschillende restaurants ook door water.

De ruimte
Ons onlangs gerenoveerde huisje aan een rustige baai van Old Hickory Lake is perfect voor uw romantische uitje, huwelijksreis of een rustige plek om te ontspannen.
Geniet van een glas wijn terwijl je de zon ziet ondergaan boven het meer op het grote overdekte dek. Kijk hoe herten door de grote schaduwrijke tuin komen om te grazen aan de rand van het water. Werp je vislijn vanuit onze overdekte privé-steiger, terwijl de schildpadden zelf in een nabijgelegen blokje zonnen.
Binnen in de grote Master Suite is een kingsize bed en een volledige douche met alles wat je nodig hebt. Geniet van de open haard terwijl je luier op het comfortabele gedeelte en geniet van een film of een game op de Smart TV met flatscreen.

Er zijn verschillende bootlanceringen en bootverhuur in de buurt. Perfecte locatie om te vissen, waterskiën, slangen en andere watersporten. Veel te doen in en om het water.

Geniet van verschillende nabijgelegen restaurants per boot: slechts enkele minuten naar Cherokee Steak House, Awe Daddy's, Sam's bij Black Jack Cove, 2 foot cove en OHL Dam.

Wij zijn gelegen op 30 minuten van Nashville International Airport.

Nashville en het omliggende gebied zijn vol met Civil War History, geweldig eten, pro voetbal (Titans), pro hockey (Predators), live muziekevenementen en natuurlijk de leuke toeristische dingen in het centrum van Nashville "Nash Vegas" & Broadway. Niet in de attracties van Nashville? Er zijn tal van attracties in Hendersonville of Gallatin: Golf, restaurants, winkels, historische huizen, etc.!

Speciale opmerking * Als service aan onze buren verhuren wij ons huis NIET voor evenementen zoals Bachelor / Bachelorette-evenementen, feesten of bruiloften.

Ter info: alleen het bovenste deel van het huisje is op dit moment beschikbaar. Het onderste gedeelte is afgesloten voor de renovatie van de binnenkort tweede slaapkamer en speelkamer. De hut is privé en niemand anders zal tijdens uw verblijf op het terrein verblijven.

LET OP: de woning bevindt zich aan het einde van de uitsparing net naast het hoofdkanaal. De wind en stroming brengt vaak puin in het gebied rond het dok, inclusief hout, afval en vaak hele bomen. Mos en algen maken deel uit van het leven op het water en we hebben heel weinig controle over wat de stroming dagelijks oplevert. We proberen het gebied schoon te houden, maar we zijn niet dagelijks op de site. We hebben onze boot meerdere keren zonder problemen in de slip geparkeerd en zijn net als veel van onze gasten meerdere keren zonder problemen vanaf het dok gevist. Als er een probleem is wanneer u aankomt, neem dan contact met ons op en wij zullen kijken of er iets is dat kan worden gedaan. Dank je!

You will be impressed. There were literally 100 deer in the yard at any given point, but we were careful not to approach the skunk. Tranquil deck to sit out and overlook the water. Definitely a two person Vacay, but our dogs loved it as well huge yard to run in

This cottage was impressive all the way around. The owners thought of everything and exceeded every other stay we have had prior in a VRBO rental. Their example should be the industry standard. The cottage was comfortable, quiet, clean, and perfectly located for our destination needs. The owners are excellent in their communication. We will stay there again the next time we are down that way.

Stay at cozy cottage

The property is beautiful. Perfect for a quiet weekend on the lake. My personal opinion is that it’s slightly overpriced for the size of the home. Especially if sharing the space with other renters-the basement space can be rented separately from the upstairs. But I suppose that’s the market rate so do with that what you will. The space was very clean and if you’re traveling with the dogs, this is a wonderful spot. The hosts have gone above expectations for making them welcome in the space. Would stay again

Clean, comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything you need. Lots of outdoor space and seating. Fun to watch the birds and deer on the property. Close enough to Nashville. Many other small towns to visit close by. Great communication with the hosts. We booked an additional night.

Relaxing weekend

We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning watching the ducks, sitting by the fire pit at night watching the deer and making s'mores, and everything in between. They had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The phone service isn't the best inside the house, but we could text and the wifi worked. The host was responsive to any questions. We would stay here again.

This was a great stay. The place was very clean, easy to access, easy parking, close to restaurants/groceries/gas, easy drive to the City, great communication with the owners. It was peaceful, comfortable, and we were already trying to figure out when we could get back! My dog loved the deer, geese, ducks, birds, and all of the nature around!

The cottage is in a great location if you want to be on the lake. There is easy access to the nice dock on the property. We had easy communication with the host. However, entry walkway and the steps leading to the cottage deck are slick if wet due to algae growth. Note if you have pets, the gate on the deck does not latch without manually lifting latch for a secure catch. In addition, there are many rules and individual fees accessed if those rules are broken. One of which - you are responsible to pull garbage cans to the street on Thursdays for pickup on Friday. If you fail to do that, if I remember correctly, there is a $40. Fee accessed per can. I understand placing garbage in cans but pulling cans to the street for pickup does not merit a relaxing vacation along with other fees you need to be aware of. I did not find this information when booking - so be sure you check the rule book after arriving to avoid other various fees that you could be charged for.

Most amazing lakeside getaway super close to downtown Nashville! Quiet peaceful and gorgeous!

Do not miss out on this location for your trip to Old Hickory Lake! Home is right on the lake with a huge backyard and private dock. There are deer and fireflies everywhere. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful and full of southern charm. The hosts are amazing… they were so quick to respond to any questions we had. The house is immaculate and full of the best hotel type bathroom toiletries and extras! It is so close to everything downtown and an easy drive to the airport!

Beautiful property, great location!

My husband and I stayed at the Cozy Cottage for our honeymoon in August-September. We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. The cottage had everything we needed and is in a great location. We brought our boat and kept it at the dock which was super convenient and we had a great time exploring Old Hickory Lake! We have been talking about staying here again. Definitely recommend!

Great hosts, absolutely beautiful place!

The hosts made sure to provide you with everything they could think of. We originally rented just the upstairs but changed our mind at the last minute due to not having access to the laundry room and asked if we could rent the whole house so we could use the laundry room (keep that in mind if just renting the upstairs). The hosts were wonderful and allowed us to do so. They provided everything you could want/need including extra snacks, soaps & shampoos, and robes in each closet. The cupboards are full of pots, pans, utensils, spices. and coffee. There are also some food items such as oatmeal, peanut butter, etc. There are grocery stores fairly close by and we went before going to the house. The bedrooms are plenty (whole house) and the beds are comfy. There were 3 bathrooms if needed (1 upstairs and 2 down.) It was like a 5 star hotel only better because of the gorgeous views you had. Each day we saw several deer going through the property (I counted 21 in one passing). We also saw a fox each day and at one point he curled up in the open field next to the house; adorable! We saw lots of geese, ducks, cranes, etc. on the lake. It was all so beautiful that we didn't go anywhere else. I felt privileged to be able to stay in such a heavenly place and highly recommend!

Wonderful retreat!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, great location and easy to travel to different parts of the Nashville area. The hosts were great to work with and followed up as needed. The home was clean, nice layout, and had everything I needed. Wonderful deck with comfortable seating, I also lucked out and had beautiful weather the entire time I was there! My only feedback was that the neighbors were bit closer (location wise) than I anticipated, so not as private, but it was a very quiet area and I had no problems. There is a dock but I didn't really use it because of the geese, not within the hosts control but it did prevent me from using that as a place to relax. But, geese go where geese want to go, just made it more wildlife friendly, which I definitely enjoyed. Would highly recommend and would consider staying there again! Thank you!

Wonderful Retreat

Great location on the lake. Very cozy with beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed watching the deer, fox and ducks every day. Very dog friendly. Owners of the property went the extra mile to make available little treats and supplies for our dog and many other items needed for our stay. Easy trip into Nashville. I would so recommend this place and I am hoping we can stay there again, the next time we visit Nashville.
