Hillwood Retro is a stylish home with nostalgic accents and colorful furnishings. You'll be a short 15 minute Uber ride away from the heart of Nashville. Explore Music Row and learn about Nashville's entertainment industry or check out one of the numerous museums in Downtown Nashville. Don't forget to dine out at the local restaurants and breweries that the city has to offer!

The Space:
The living room is furnished with colorful furniture around a Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc). Steps away is the extended kitchen counter with counter stool seats. The kitchen is great for cooking homemade meals and is equipped with a toaster, Keurig coffee maker old-fashioned refrigerator and more.

There is a King bedroom with another Smart TV and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

Things to note:
- This home is pet friendly. A maximum of 2 dogs may be brought to this home. Please note that there is an additional Pet Fee of $75 per pet that is not included in your final booking cost. To pay your Pet Fee, please contact the Customer Care Team after booking.
- A washer and dryer is available in the property for guest use
- 1 assigned parking space available. Additional street parking is available around the building on a first come first serve basis.
- The bathroom, kitchen & living room are a half level below the bedroom and the ceiling height is lower than standard ceilings in this portion of the unit.

Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee.

My stay was wonderful. I stayed for a month and was very pleased. It was very clean, easy check-in process and loved the location. It was a perfect place to stay.

I booked a VRBO stay expecting a relaxing vacation, but was met with a horrific experience. Upon arrival, a foul odor permeated the basement unit, which I later discovered was caused by black mold in the bathroom. The smell was so overpowering it nearly made me ill multiple times. I immediately contacted the host about the issue, but their response was inadequate, suggesting the mold could simply be “cleaned.” Black mold is a serious health hazard requiring professional remediation, not a quick wipe-down.To make matters worse, after a 20-hour drive and little sleep, my father and I were woken at 9 AM by a veterinary clinic attached to the property, as an HVAC technician needed access to our unit to fix their air conditioning. We were not informed the unit was in a basement or that it controlled the building’s HVAC system, which was disruptive and inconvenient. The HVAC technician also pointed out microbial growth in the air conditioner, which we had been running all night, posing further health risks, especially for my 60-year-old father with health concerns.The unit was also noticeably dirty upon arrival. Despite my clear request to avoid disturbances, a cleaner was sent during our stay, under the false impression she hadn’t cleaned properly. She confirmed the black mold issue had been raised by previous guests and management dismissed it, claiming the “pretty” house excused the problem. This disregard for guest safety is unacceptable. Avoid this spot at all costs!

Cute & Comfy

Conveniently located just outside of downtown, this place had everything we needed. The bed was like a dream to sleep on-- the pillows were the best part. The downstairs was nice and spacious with a great little kitchen that served us well. Hope to return again some day.

Terrible!

I checked out list ing. 8 hours when I got there. I complained and documented the unsafe conditions of this facility, and still was not offered any restitution. Restitution. Everything from the locks on the front door was no strike plate, to no gfis in the restroom which could cause an electrocution. I've also threatened to

This is a quiet place with a few restaurants within walking distance. Very central for Uber rides downtown, midtown and the gulch.
