Friends Fall Getaway

Clean and comfortable
We were attending a wedding at Riverwood Mansion and enjoying a weekend in Nashville. Loved being so close to the venue and that there was a huge park with trails nearby for walking. We also enjoyed the accessibility to downtown Nashville. The home was very clean and comfortable. It would have been ideal to have doors on the 4th bedroom since it is near the kitchen and early risers wanted to eat/make coffee without waking that person but otherwise perfect.

Lovely
When you walk into the home you instantly feel at home. It was well stocked, which is so nice not having to run to the store to get basic items. There was Enough toilet paper, paper towels, and kitchen supplies. The house is roomy, clean, and the beds and furniture are very comfy. The house so welcoming. I really enjoyed staying here! Not much communication with the host, but gave information for emergencies if needed. My dog loved the yard (but we live in an apartment so this was a treat for her) I would stay here again!

Family vacation for CMA fest
This property was perfect for our family trip to Nashville. Far enough away from downtown yet conveniently located to everything. We felt at home with our daily visits from the deer. Neighborhood felt safe and friendly. Older home but clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed as well. We enjoyed our stay and made lasting memories on vacation.

Great place
Great quiet neighborhood! So quiet deer walk around in front and back yard. Uber was reasonable for a family of 6, neighbors were great! Kids loved the place there was a room for them downstairs to watch TV and not get in trouble for TV being loud. Washer and dryer were amazing!!! I just picked one son up at camp and needed to wash all his camp stuff, they had detergent, but I had brought my PODs from home. Sheets were amazingly soft, to the point we started searching the brand to buy for the house.

Enjoyed this clean, quiet getaway! Perfect for the 7 of us. Nearby walking trail was enjoyable in the morning coolness and the back patio watching fireflies in the evening. Easy drive to all the sites in Nashville. Would stay there again!

Overall it was an okay stay. The fourth bedroom isn’t really a bedroom and the twin bed was broken so we couldn’t use it and there was rotten fruit in a container in the living room. The other 3 beds were comfy and bedding was clean and fresh. Bathroom needed cleaned behind the door better kinda gross. Kitchen needs satisfactory. It is a bit out of the way and hidden beyond the interstate, but a 20minutes to Broadway via Uber.

Cozy, clean home in a perfect location. Comfortable for a family of 6. We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast and we had everything we needed to cook. Neighborhood was cute and grocery stores nearby. 20-25 minute drive into Nashville. Would highly recommend!

Comfortable, Convenient and Dog Friendly!
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and it was a quick drive to the Opryland Hotel where my husband was attending a conference!

Great place not in the city
The property was nice. Some others are complaining about the old tile in the bathroom upstairs - I didn't mind it. It was VERY clean. It's not right in the city and not a far drive. It's actually kind of central to the Opry & the city. Good water pressure. Met all of our needs overall!

Like visiting your Grama!
I felt instantly at ease and at home in this cozy and surprisingly large home. My daughter and I walked the Shelby bottoms trail with the access only a block away. We watched a flock of wild turkeys grazing in the backyard. We planned a lot of things but ended up just enjoying the local eateries and atmosphere. My family of 7 had a wonderful time. My only regret is the extra poundage I put on sampling the beers and nashville chicken.

Convenient safe East Nashville setting
This spacious home was convenient to the Shelby Greenway and Airpark and a short drive to East Nashville restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The neighborhood was pleasant and friendly. Some additional amenities (soap/shampoo/toothpaste/coffee) I’ve seen in other VRBOs would have been appreciated, but the basics were fine.

Plenty to do in Nashville
This is an older home, but that is the neighborhood. The location was very convenient, with paved walking trails through Shelby Greenway, nice for a morning walk. The location is a nice midpoint for going to Opry Mills Mall/Opryland one direction and downtown Broadway the other direction (for the Honky Tonks and the Ryman Auditorium). Just a note, limited TV channels.

Although other recent reviews are correct - the 4th bedroom is not a real bedroom, it is separate from the living area, so it wasn't a big deal for our group. Great location! Just a quick drive from downtown, and we loved taking walks in the nearby park. Lovely quiet neighborhood. We would stay again.

Quiet neighborhood located twenty minutes from just about everything. House was perfect for the four of us. The “fourth” bedroom is not enclosed and right next to kitchen. Not a problem for us but not accurately described in room descriptions. Communication with homeowners was excellent. Our favorite part of our trip was going to the Grand Ole Opry. Downtown honky tonks were a lot of fun as well. I think we ate our way through Nashville!!

We loved the house and the location to downtown was good.
My only concern is that the listing says it sleeps eight but not really, unless one sleeps on the couch. The are with twin is not large enough for air mattress. Also it is more of a hallway than a bedroom. No one in that room has any privacy. Should not advertise it in the manner that you do

Worked great for our groups trip!!!
We had a good stay. Beds were comfortable and sitting areas were spacious for our group when we had time to relax. The “fourth” bedroom is definitely pushing the definition of a bedroom especially for two adults but we made it work. “Clear” and more mirrors in bedrooms would help when having multiple people needing to use the bathrooms. Host was quick to respond when we had a question about the nearest grocery store. Transportation to Broadway, The Gulch, Midtown, West End & Five Points we very easy to get and affordable!! We would definitely consider staying again.......until next time Nashville!!!

It was advertised as 4 bedroom, but in one of the bedrooms, there was no door and no curtains, so no privacy. There was also a musty smell that never really went away. The outside/storm door had a 1 1/2 inch gap at the bottom, so if you left the inside door open, many bugs were able to get in. The windows were dirty and the paint in the kitchen was peeling and had chipped off. The location was the best thing about this place.

We loved this house and we would definitely stay again. The neighborhood was very nice and the park close enough to walk to every day. The home is close to Broadway and the drive downtown was very easy. We made our Thanksgiving meal in the well-stocked kitchen and enjoyed the weather and some football.

We really liked this house for a long weekend. It was clean, had a good Nashville vibe and everything we needed. Nice location in a neighborhood with a bike/hiking trail nearby. About a 20 minute drive to pretty much anything we wanted to do.

Great location, comfortable and clean. There is only two things I would suggest, having a back awning over back patio and having large mirrors in every bedroom. With several ladies staying together. Charming home
Had a wonderful time with friends. Charming home in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the extra touches like the sticker on the toilet paper and the Moon Pies in a bowl on the table. Had the perfect amount of space to fit all of us. The beds were comfy and just what we needed to come back to after long days and nights at our convention. Had one minor issue with batteries in a smoke detector but the owners were quick to respond to my text and the problem was corrected. Would definitely recommend this home and would stay there again on the next trip to Nashville.

Enjoyed our stay
For what we were looking for, the house exceeded our expectations. The main reason why we selected this place was it was close to our wedding ceremony. Since I made my wife get married at 10am, wanted her to have a short drive to the mansion. The ladies had a nice time, and both families were able to spend time talking and bonding.
