'Stayed for 4 nights on the off chance we would have to curfew following the election date but glad we had the extra time here. The hotel has been closed for renovation but has recent opened 1.5 months and I could not fault it! The rooms are beautifully designed, lots of space, beautiful Mountain View’s (we had one of the sunrise view rooms but I understand they also have sunset views too) and all amenities included. Decor around the accommodation itself are also beautiful. Very well designed...

'Het is een heel eenvoudig hotel, maar heeft toch complete voorzieningen, zoals eigen badkamer met warm water. Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en smaakte prima. Op onze eerste avond hebben wij van de menukaart een warme maaltijd uitgezocht die verrassend goed smaakte. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam, zij regelen alle transport voor een scherpe prijs. Beetje jammer dat de beheersing van het Engels nogal gebrekkig is.'

Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. 'We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...
