'Great property and close to Tawas for shopping and Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets. Loved having a washer and dryer. We were a little disappointed that the Sand Lake access wasn’t closer but it all worked out. We drove to Lake Huron and swam in the Great Lake. '

'Susan is an amazing host. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us and our little dogs. Bed was very comfortable, and the party store right across the street is a game changer which also has really good food. 10 minutes from East Tawas was another great perk for food and a cool little downtown feel. There is so much to do but we chose to do a lot of relaxing and this was a great spot at a reasonable cost. We will definitely be back!!!'

'We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

'We had a fantastic time, with so much to do outdoors, our 5 boys had no problem falling asleep completely exhausted at the end of the day. It’s a mix between “Glamping” and “camping” the cabin was super cute. Has a full fridge and microwave, with an outdoor grill. There’s no toilets or running water in the cabin, but the main lodge has showers and toilets and a full kitchen to use, and the cabin is like 50 feet from it. We had a blast and the kids have asked to come back here every year from now...

'We had a good time during our stay here. There was a little noise from the road but the cabin is very close to US23 so that is to be expected. Cabin was laid out well, and the beds were comfy and clean. It is a rustic cabin with modern amenities and it fit the bill for our stay.Would definitely consider this location again for future trips up to the East Tawas/Oscoda area. '
