Greene King-accommodaties in National Forest

'Had to click on something to get to this part of the review. Never actually stayed at the hotel, but spoke to a lady called Catherine who was brilliant! We had to cancel due to family commitments, but good old Expedia wouldn’t refund as they said I was too late to do as, but I took out the cancellation cover with them which said I could cancel up to the 3/5, but they thought different. I will never use Expedia again. You need to speak to people not robots!!'

'Room 10: The carpet looked like it had been vacuumed for a while. Dedicated coffee was still hanging on the apparently washed coffee cups! There was a piece of candy stuck on the floor in the bathroom. There was no toilet brush and the bottom of the toilet was dirty! Too bad because the beds and bathroom looked fairly recent. With some attention to hygiene this would be a good hotel. You have to take into account that it is next to a guarded truck parking lot where the refrigerated trucks can be...

'Fantastic stay. Lovely room. Free parking and £10 for our dog to stay ( 2 night stay) food was lovely and we could take our dog with us. The staff were fab made a fuss over our dog and nothing was too much trouble for us or her. Opposite, there is a field that you can take your dog for a walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back. '
