'Amazing hotel full of antiques and curios. Our room had a four poster bed and a lovely modern shower room. Breakfast was extra (£15) but was huge with toast, cereals, tea and juice. Attached to the hotel is a splendid bar serving cask beers - what more could you want? It's a 10-15 minute walk into the city and all the attractions, and the hotel car park is free!'

'A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building.'
