After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)'

'Het is een net hotel met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel,er is voldoende gelegenheid om te parkeren,(gratis). Er zijn zelfs een aantal overdekte parkeerplaatsen. Het hotel ligt aan een grote weg maar daar heb je weinig tot geen last van. Er is ook gratis wifi,deze werkt uitstekend. De kamer ziet er netjes en verzord uit,en het hotel is ongeveer anderhalf jaar geleden volledig opgeknapt. Elk gedeelte van het hotel heeft een eigen keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien. '

'We did not receive the check-in details via e-mail so could not check in and ultimately not stay overnight. The phone number that was with the booking was supposed to be a helpdesk with the operator being anything but helpful. We had a look for help at the property but could not find anyone on two separate occasions; we were also astounded to discover that the accommodation was in the middle of a wedding venue and NOT the wedding we were attending. 'Convenient location and clean. Easy checkin with the key available from pub across the road. Had unusual single cup kettle and coffee maker and good selection of teas and coffees. Lights and bathroom tap were on timing sensors and both were a bit annoying particularly the tap when you were trying to fill a jug for the kettle. Bedclothing was a bit tired and there were only 2 fairly flat pillows on a standard size double bed. The thing I really didn’t like though was the musty smell of bedding...

'Beautiful room and perfectly placed for attending a wedding at the Gilstrap Centre. Directions, parking, and self check in were all well described and easy to follow.'

'Obviously a very rough location to stay, Pay as you go bar service, however also have to leave a £50 refundable deposit "for any damages" apparently I said to the girl who checked me in " is it really that rough?" Her response was "yes we have alsorts in here and the system won't let me check you in unless you pay the security deposit" make you feel very welcome...'

'My second stay here. Good base for visiting the surrounding area, short walk to the town for lots of eating and drinking options. Hotel restaurant has a good, varied menu. Nice big hardstanding car park, staff friendly and helpful. Good size room. Plenty of storage. '

'Staff here are where very helpful we booked a family room when arriving into our room there was only a double bed and one single for a family of 4 2 adults and 2 children. The staff were very quick to help and re arranged us a new room without hesitation. We had travelled a lot the day of staying. Decided to eat at the hotel was disappointed that there wasn’t a children menu for our children to pick from. Couldn’t fault the food was absolutely Devine for dinner and breakfast was lovely to all...
