'The Aida is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is close to the KC streetcar & the art museums. It is well maintained, the rooms are spacious & the staff is very helpful. Cookie treats & fruit are provided as well as Expresso coffee. Regular coffee would be a nice addition.'

'The location was excellent. It was within walking distance to the plaza metro ( I travelled to watch the world cup game, and the shuttle service leaves from the plaza). The hotel however is old and despite being in a non-smoking room, I could still smell cigarettes from outside.'

'Great location and this is my favorite Kansas City hotel but i didn’t get a shower cap because a hospitality kit was not provided. There wasn’t a coffee machine or kettle provided, though I asked twice at the reception. No mugs either. And room service was skipped for almost 2 days until I asked. We ran out of soap and toilet paper.'

'The first room did not appear to be completly clean and was not in great shape as the floor was damaged, the deadbolt was stuck open so the door wouldn't shut, and it needed a fresh coat of paint etc. I alerted the staff and was immediately moved to a room on the second level that was the same room but in much better shape. 'The back patio was nice, had a seating area. The building was kind of updated (fresh paint) but overall needed some improvements. There was an odor in the hallway. No seating in the room other than the bed. It was difficult to find parking at night. The staff was great, no complaints there.'
