'We had a wonderful week at the Liberty Mountain Resort. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating from the get-go. Room was clean and had a nice balcony to sit with our morning coffee facing the mountain. We enjoyed walking the property in the evenings and strolling around the pond and courtyard area. Parking was available right in front of our building for ease going in and out as we left for day activities. The food at Eagle and Owl on the property was excellent. We hit one small snag...

'I don’t have enough words to describe just how beautiful this gorgeous bed and breakfast manor really is! Our room was elegantly decorated with antiques throughout and yet it was inviting and comfortable! The bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub as well as a shower! There weren’t many other guests so we checked out the other rooms and all were just as amazing! The breakfasts were just brilliant! We felt completely pampered! I look forward to a return visit! '

'My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property. I’ve stayed at numerous other places in Gettysburg, but this one was by far my favorite. It’s easy access to everything in the downtown and the park. Makes it an excellent spot and well worth the price.'

The manager was very informative about the history of the house, which we found interesting.
Staff in general were knowledgeable about places to visit beyond the battle grounds, dinning options and some specifics about touring the National Park.

'This was our second visit and we enjoyed our stay both times. Very convenient location, nice people, good breakfast. My one criticism would be that we were never able to get the room cooled off, making it a little difficult to sleep.'

'Me and my daughter came to town for a film festival so we weren’t at the property very much throughout our stay. However, the rooms were clean. The grounds was well kept and the location was near a Walmart and gas stations had we needed anything in a pinch. It was also a fairly quiet location. Staff was nice; good coffee. '

'Honestly, this hotel is awesome! The staff was sooo nice, pool is smaller but we didn’t care. Location was everything! Right near all the battlefields. A minute drive from downtown.
The rooms were very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.
Breakfast was 8/10. Typical hotel breakfast..but we all found something we liked :) '

'It was okay, not the worst but surely not close to being good. As I walked through the door it smelled like cat litter that needed to be changed. The hot water heater had been down for three days. (I did receive a call before hand that there was no hot water). The bed was very firm mattress.
I will not stay there again. '
