'This is a truly authentic Nepalese hotel with original antique pieces. The hotel is super clean and the staff is very helpful. The location could not be better, situated on a quiet road but only a minute walk from the busy streets of Thamel. You can have your breakfast for lunch which I particularly appreciated as I do not like eating in the mornings. Thank you.'

'This hotel felt like a little home away from home. The staff make it a point to make you feel comfortable and happy. Even though the bathroom had some leaks and the bed wasn’t the greatest, I will stay here again. It is very convenient because you are close to Thamel without being in the hectic area. I walked everywhere and did not need a car unless to go to the temples. Other than that I loved the food options nearby specially the Massala Beads cafe this is a must try and it’s only 5 mins away...

'Mooie centrale ligging in de stad. Hotel heeft alle faciliteiten maar komt wat gedateerd over. Kamers ruiken naar schimmel (wij waren er overigens in de moesson periode) en worden niet heel goed schoongemaakt. Oase van rust in drukke stad. Met Mezze en Old House twee prima restaurants (die er niet bij horen) op loopafstand. Prima zwembad en ontbijt/lunch/dinner ruimte.'

'I've stayed in many hotels in Thamel, and I found Hotel Buddha Land to be the best value. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice and clean and comfortable. Also the hot water, AC, and WIFI are all super reliable, which is hard to find in Thamel. I highly recommend Hotel Buddha Land!'
