'Breakfast was excellent all round. Staff were great, more than ample choice of cereal, juices and hot food. Toaster was a bit slow! Only disappointment of whole stay was the evening meal menu - could not buy a steak or a schnitzel! Limited choice - we didn't go back the second night. Up market fine dining not really our cup of tea! Some more basic options would have been better.'

'Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend.'

'Great for visiting Hahndorf as it was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable room. '

'Loved the homely touches with the beautiful crockery and furniture around the house. Close to the town centre. Mattress was a little firm for our liking and extra milk for the continental breakfast would have been nice. Otherwise a lovely place to stay! '

'Longview is what you call a hidden gem. Let's start with the basics. Rooms are spacious. Have a full equipped kitchen. Wifi is free. Room comes with breakfast which is already in the room upon arrival. Egs, bread,Orange Juice, bacon, cheese, milk, cereal, tomatoes. Selection of tea and coffee for in a french press. Shower quality is great, ceiling fan and airco. Little seat in from of your room to have breakfast Not a single bad thing we found about the room. Furthermore, the property...

'Iam a cleaner by trade i just pointed out some missed spots in the room that had not been cleaned i.e top of shower head dust and skin, and shower drain was caked in mold, there was also thick layer of dust around circular light feature and dust on top of bed frame. Other then that pleasent stay'

'The location was very good and the rooms were comfortable. In our first room, there was a faulty and dangerous power point and the tv didn’t work. In the second room, there was still a loose power point and the hair dryer did not stay in its broken holder. It was a large room but there was only one dining chair for the large table and only one lounge chair. Nether room had enough coat hangers though the obliging ‘house fairy’ found some more for us. Maintenance needs improvement.'

' Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified.'

'This was a completely random find by us. These villas are part of a cooking school, but we were just there for the room. This was the most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at. It was beautiful, stunning architecture, beautifully furnished, it had an amazing complete designer kitchen which we didn't use, but which would be handy for longer stays, and it was not all that expensive. The nearby town had cute restaurants etc. Even though it's not quite in Adelaide, it's close enough, and well worth...
