'Such a clean, charming, and cozy home! Gorgeous view, exactly like the photos. It is a bit far from a grocery store, so the snacks that were generously provided were a treat on my first night. The area was heavily effected by Hurricane Helene, so it's humbling to see all of the damage against the backdrop of these beautiful mountains. 'Stayed for several weeks and ended up extending our stay at this rental. The cottage wasnt far from town and had an amazing view of the mountains. It was the perfect tiny house stay! The host answered all of our questions quickly and had great communication with us while we stayed. I would highly recommend booking the cottage or with this host.'

'This home was exactly as advertised, which is not always the case, but certainly was here. Very quiet, friendly neighborhood as well. Many rentals up here do not have A/C, but due to the unusually high humidity this weekend, we were definitely glad this one did. Simply loved everything about this rental. 'After the hurricane, there were not many places in the county that had electricity, but this home did. It was a blessing for our family to be able to live and work here for a week. The house was clean and very comfortable and the host was very easy to work with. Highly recommended for someone visiting the area or needing a place to stay while home is unavailable. '

'We loved this property! It was very new - didn't have that "lived in" feeling at all and no obvious wear and tear on any appliances, furnishings, or kitchen tools. And very clean!! The house had most everything you could want...and great views. We had 2 small kids with us who really enjoyed the vanishing steps to the lake. 'Very nice property. If you want private and beautiful location, this is it. Nearest town to buy groceries is Burnsville so get what you need before heading up to property. The only improvement I can think off would be to screen off that corner of the front porch where the bed is….I would have slept out there but scared a spider might get me!'
