'The air conditioning in our room was out, so they had to move us to a different room. The service at the restaurant was not great. They staff worked hard to make things right, but it was not the weekend we were hoping for.'

'Room was cool and clean but the halls were heavily perfumed, seemingly covering up some mold smell. Noticed that moldy smell just inside our doorway the second morning, right before checking out. Breakfast staff on Sunday morning was phenomenal, as always! Real food options are great, not just carbs.'

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'The facility was totally misrepresented in Expedia. Based on the descriptions and photos and the 9.2 rating, we booked 7 nights in a “premier” room. The room we were given did not look even remotely like the photos. The “shower” was a cloth wrap around a free standing tub—away from walls with no grab bars, no place for soap/shampoo. The bathroom was a step down from the bedroom. My wife stumbled to her knees when she got up to use the bathroom at night because she missed the step in the dark....
