'The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. 'This is an excellent B and B. Clean, quiet, safe, affordable and comfortable. It is a bit remote, in a little village, so do take care when driving to it. Our Driving app directed us through some single lane, gravel roads because that was the shortest way. But you don’t have to do that, as we discovered. '

'This BnB is easy to find and the couple are very welcoming. Nice quality of breakfast food, cooked fresh to order. No shampoo and body wash provided as it's a budget price, but it still represents excellent value. Very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and plenty hot water / good shower pressure. 'Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

'Very slow check in, card machine not working so had to write my card details down on a piece of paper (not sure this is compliant with GDPR). No iron available. Paid £15 for breakfast thinking it was a cooked breakfast but was only continental consisting of a box of cereal, a piece of ham, 2 pieces of cheese, rock hard crusty roll and a jar of strawberries. Drove 5 minutes down the road and got 2 full English breakfasts for £16. There was no shower gel and only half a toilet roll left for us....

'Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ruime schone kamer met goed uitgeruste kleine keuken en badkamer met shampoo, zeep etc. Het opklapbed zal een minpuntje zijn voor langere personen. Gratis 2 flesjes water in de koelkast bij het inchecken. Koffie, thee, cacao etc. aanwezig. Schoonmaak komt elke dag langs. Hotel is op ± 10 minuten lopen van Liverpool Lime street station. Ook het (winkel) centrum is op loopafstand. Diverse bushaltes in de buurt van het hotel. Diverse supermarkten zoals o.a....

'De kamers zijn schoon en netjes met de voorzieningen die je nodig hebt, personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, in het weekend staat er beveiliging bij de entree om een extra check te doen. Super locatie midden in de winkelstraat, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.'
