Slechts 2. 5 mijl van het centrum van Nevada City je Baby Beer's Cottage te vinden, met uw eigen prive hot tub, met uitzicht op de waterval en een vijver, op 5 beboste acres, grenzend aan Timber Lodge Papa Bear's (notering # 46584). Dit gezellige houten huisje kan alleen of voor extra ruimte gehuurd worden bij het huren van Papa Bear's Lodge. Het is een ideale locatie om te ontspannen of het verkennen van Nevada City of South Yuba River, beide op slechts enkele minuten rijden met de auto.

In het hart van de binnenstad Nevada City (2. 5 mijl) en Grass Valley (5 mijl) kunt u heerlijk eten, uitstekende live theater en prachtige galeries en winkels te vinden. Reizen met de auto naar het skiën, rivier of meer kajakken en zwemmen. Er zijn vele fietsroutes door de omliggende heuvels en tal van wijnproeverijen locaties. Lokale en out-of-town muzikanten kan bijna worden gehoord elke avond van de week.

Probeer je hand op om goud te winnen in de Yuba, en bezoek de historische Rijk Mine. Dit gebied is ideaal voor mountainbikers, kajakkers en wandelaars, en voor wie op zoek is naar een romantisch uitje.

Lake Vera is een klein meer, omgeven door zomerkampen en uitsluitend door hen gebruikt. (Onze gasten hebben geen toegang.) Onze hutten zijn gelegen op 5 acres naast Camp Augusta. In de zomermaanden (eind mei tot half augustus) kun je horen 'happy camp klinkt' als de kinderen genieten van zwemmen, zip lining en zingen rond het kampvuur, dan naar bed door 09:30, rustige uur.

Perfect couples getaway

We booked last minute and heard back quickly with clear instructions. Only thing that would have made it clearer is describing which door to use for baby bear or a sign on the door, but it was pretty easy to figure out. Others have said the place is updated, so even better than the pictures. It’s super and a perfect getaway for two.

Charming cabin

Stayed in Baby Bear (there’s also a papa bear and mama bear cabin on property. Very sweet cabin for 2 people . Owners were lovely and responsive. Cabin is cute and, although basic, is perfect for two people. Nice hot tub. Great location.

Beautiful setting, unfortunately cabin floors and carpet dirty

When I arrive at a VRBO it is and was a beautiful setting. But one thing I really want clean are my floors. I noticed in the cabin of baby bear dog prints and what looked like unclean floors so I decided to get down on hands and knees and do a little cleaning to see just how dirty it was. I ended up cleaning the kitchen tile floor and the wood floor where we spent most of our time as carpet was in the bedroom. They were quite dirty. It’s like they had forgotten to clean it for sometime. The throw carpets were pretty dirty, so I put towels down all around so we could walk on the clean towels. we felt the bedding was a bit on the old side and needed some refreshing stains on the bedspread, etc. But other than that we slept like babies, the scenery is gorgeous with a waterfall in the back and a private Jacuzzi. It was close to hiking, which we loved! We would like to return if we felt the cleaning was better as the setting truly was beautiful and very private.

Wonderful Spot

Super cozy cabin and lovely location. I had a great time and wish I could have spent more time there. The wifi worked fine, and it was not a serious issue for me but it’s important to know that AT&T (at least for me) does not have cell reception there.

Baby Bear’s Cabin

My partner and stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay! We LOVED the waterfall and tiered ponds! The hot tub was great to relax in at night. The property is located close to the historic town Nevada City. We were able to explore different things near us. We plan to rent the cabin again in the future, maybe even rent all 3 for our family as a group.

Absolutely perfect!

This cabin is the cutest and most perfect getaway ever. It’s so clean, cozy, and completely stocked with anything and everything you could ever need and the bed is huge and soft. Everything is extremely thoughtful and done with the customer experience in mind. There’s a tv with dish and even different games and books and activities. The hot tub is nice and private and the private pond is so beautiful and serene. It was fairly easy to find, the check in was perfect because we didn’t even have to do anything, it was just ready for us without anyone. It was also private and quiet. Everything was so perfect and comfortable and cozy that I didn’t want to leave! It had the ultimate cozy cabin vibe. We will be back for sure.

Perfect retreat for a couple

Well just to start off the pics on the site may be a little old because on arrival the decor in the cabin was updated, floors redone and it was gorgeous. This was the perfect escape for my wife and I, the jacuzzi was wondeful, the bed comfortable. Everything was clean and put just perfect in place. We will definitely be retuning in the future.

Great place, highly recommended. Even though it's right next to another lodge, it was still very private and felt nice to have space. Only issue is finding the place. GPS and the map was pretty confusing! Maybe ask the manager for clearer directions on where to turn into the property. Thanks!

Will stay again in the future!

My partner and I had a wonderful time during our stay and are already talking about when we could come back and stay here again! We read the other reviews and listing so we knew to expect no cell service and that the wifi might be a bit slow or patchy, so this wasn’t an issue for us. Honestly it was nice being away from all of the notifications! The hosts were prompt and super happy to help when we needed the router restarted at the beginning of our stay. It was lovely and warm in the cabin, and the hot tub was very private and clean. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to getaway with homey and charming decor, friendly hosts, and a peaceful location, look no further! I think we had some of the best sleep of our lives — after a lounge in the hot tub, the bed was so comfortable and the sounds of the pond and waterfall out back lulled us right to sleep. There is a large cabin nearby, but for our stay it felt like we were the only people around, which was a nice surprise. We had a very unexpected bit of snow on our day of check out, which was lovely! Expect that there might not be cell service and that the wifi won’t be super fast, but be sure to tell the hosts immediately if you need wifi help. After the router was reset, we were able to watch several episodes of a show on Netflix with some initial buffering in the beginning but that worked fine otherwise. Wouldn’t recommend for zoom calls, but who wants to work on vacation anyway? 😊

Amazing property

Loved the property. No cell service but I was aware of that prior to booking. Loved the Hot Tub and the Koi pond. The owner came to get us set up with Wifi when we first got there. Will definetely make a trip back. The Fall leaves were beautiful on the property.

This is a great little Nevada City get away cabin

Sweet little cabin tucked just a few miles from town. Super friendly owners, easy check in and out, fresh roasted coffee beans and a small pond/waterfall oasis near your private hot tub. Super cozy, super clean rustic style cabin. I'm giving this place a five out of five.

A fantastic place to gather the family.

Our family stayed in the cabins for our wedding, and everyone was raving about how nice, spacious, and accommodating the property and owners were. We are already making plans to bring our friends up here for a weekend in the future. Highly recommended!!!

A Successful Birthday Weekend!

I was tasked with finding "a cabin in the woods with a jacuzzi" by my girlfriend. After a thorough search I found this place, located just a few miles from downtown Nevada City, an area we both love to visit. The baby bear cabin was much larger and .ore well appointed than we had imagined. It was definitely one of the nicest places I've stayed at when using VRBO or similar apps. We had zero complaints. The shower had good pressure, the bed was comfortable, and the jacuzzi next to the koi pond/waterfall offered the perfect tonic to aong day of driving around, hiking, and swimming. I cannot recommend staying here enough.
