'We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Shire! Mike was so welcoming and personable. The property was beautiful and spacious and the house was perfect. Our family of 6 stayed there for a long weekend. The kids loved the basketball court and huge yard to play catch in, the swing overlooking the pond, and the huge and very spacious garage where they played ping pong and bag toss! Thank you for great stay!'

'The Yale security door lock wasn't working properly. I was locked in my room and couldn't open the door to get out. The manager (who was very nice and apologetic) had trouble getting it unlocked as well. Almost had to crawl through the window to get out. Since they were at capacity, there was no other room available. I moved to another room the next night and no problems. The air conditioning units were loud but worked well. This is an old but remodeled property.'
