'Great location in Old Town Montreal! Loved the food, service was excellent every where!'

'Fabulous offering for this price level. Large suite-like rooms with full kitchenette and large bed and bathrooms. Lovely pool with outside terrace, great for hot summer days; large and useful laundry room too. Location can't be beaten, 5-10 minutes walk from Gare Central (train and metro). The one big minus, costing them a full star in the rating, is the breakfast. Included in the rate is no excuse for them of delivering a continental-minus level. Continental would be fine, with eg croissants...

'Our room was cleaned extremely well. We had a 1 bedroom with 3 beds, queen, murphy and sofabed and all 3 beds were comfortable. Unit was generously sized with a kitchenette, and the bathroom was also clean, roomy, and accessed from both the bedroom and living room. The staff was very helpful from providing us with extra nespresso pods, to giving us directions, or helping with information.'

'Excellent customer service. The hotel is in the old part of Montreal and is a short walk to restaurants and places of interest. We just walked to Notre Dame Basilica for the Aura show.'

'The location is situated close to all of old Montreal sites. The overall experience of staying at the Sonolux was interesting and unlike any other hotel we have stayed. From check in (minimalist), to the immersive art in the hallways and room, to our checkout the vibe was was unique and appreciated.'

'Generally nice room. They were doing loud cleaning work (grinding or buffing) in the middle the night. Very noisy. I was offered ear plugs. More of a $500 hotel. I paid $700.'
