Lake was super clean and great to swim in with fantastic views from the house and back yard. Only 2 improvement points and this would have been perfect: 1. Their was no firewood left! 'Wonderful week in this clean, comfortable and modern cottage. All the facilities we needed for self catering and just a short walk to the supermarket shops and restaurants in Mahone Bay. Good base for exploring the South Shore including Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. Hired bikes from the local bike shop and enjoyed some of the local bike trails. Lovely quiet area and was nice to sit out on the front porch with a drink after a day exploring. '
