De Picayune is een historisch gerenoveerd gebouw in het CBD. Wij zijn 2 blokken van de Franse wijk.
Deze woning is de oorspronkelijke locatie van de krant New Orleans, The Times-Democraat. In 1914 fuseerde het papier met The Daily Picayune en creëerde vandaag de bekende krant, bekend als The Times Picayune.
Traditioneel ingericht met de geschiedenis van het gebouw in het achterhoofd, We hebben dit condo-thema rond de politieke sectie van de krant 'gethematiseerd'. The host has been incredible! She has kept in touch throughout the whole trip. She gave us ideas on places to go and things to do, which were completely AMAZING! She hooked us up with tickets for a Mardi Gras parade. She introduced us to so many experiences that we would not have necessarily been about to have experienced in our own, coming into a place we don't already have connections. We will definitely keep in touch with Barbara and book again!

Highly communicative and informative host. The property was even more spacious than in the photos. Perfect location, just enough off the Quarter to avoid the noise and bustle, but close enough for an easy walk after hours! And always easy to get a taxi or Uber all around the city, not to mention convenient to the trolley for some lovely touring. Rent without fear!

The location was perfect. The condo was nicely decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. My one complaint would be the second bedroom was upstairs and it was on the same air unit, so stayed very warm compared to downstairs. Hard to sleep in that space.

Our host was amazing, she let us know all about the parade times and how to get tickets.

The condo was lovely, and we had everything we needed.She was always available to answer any questions we asked. They had someone to come out the next day to fix our TV. I highly recommend this condo. We were very comfortable and felt very safe at all times.

Wonderful and convenient get-away!

This Vrbo property looked amazing and exceeded our expectations! It is super spacious, with ample bedroom space for our group of 4. The living room is also lovely and was very comfortable to come back to after so much exploring of NOLA. The French Quarter was a very short walk and we were able to easily get to so many different sights and restaurants. Finally, Barbara at VacayNOLA was amazing to work with and made our check-in as smooth as could be. She also gave us great recommendations and has a wealth of knowledge about where to go on your trip. We highly recommend this property for a NOLA get-away trip! Many thanks!!

Wonderful and Walkable in NOLA!

We just came back from a long weekend and much needed get away with some friends. Our rental did not disappoint. We were located close by to literally everything. The apartment was clean, stocked with everything we needed and was a lovely place to come in and crash after walking and enjoying the city all day. The communication for the owner was top notch and personal!
