Garden District Upscale Home w / Gated Parking

Deze accommodatie beschikt over 4 volledig ingerichte slaapkamers en 3 badkamers met 6 gasten. De bovenverdieping heeft twee slaapkamers met een queensize bed en een suite met een kingsize bed. De master suite en een van de slaapkamers boven lopen uit op een balkon met uitzicht op de omgeving. De master suite heeft een 42 "plasma-tv om de slaapkamer te huisvesten. Er is een kingsize bed in de kamer beneden met een complete badkamer.
De woonkamer is uitgerust met een 50-inch plasma-tv met surround sound, dvd-speler, radio en cd-wisselaar. De woonkamer heeft een ingebouwde bar met wijnkoeler. De plattegrond op de benedenverdieping is open voor kleine feestjes. De keuken is uitgerust met roestvrijstalen apparatuur, waaronder een fornuis, een vaatwasser, een koelkast, een magnetron en een aparte wasruimte voor uw gemak. Het pand is volledig beveiligd met alarmsysteem en buiten bewegingsverlichting. De tuin is aangelegd met terras buiten alle extra's zoals tafel en stoelen, BBQ Pitt en gas grill voor buiten koken inbegrepen. De accommodatie biedt parkeergelegenheid op straat om 2 voertuigen achter elkaar te plaatsen.

De accommodatie ligt op twee blokken van de paraderoute voor Mardi Gras en op 5 minuten van de New Orleans Superdome. Ook een nieuw aangelegde stenen terras voor BBQ of Grill plezier buitenshuis. De patio is 700 m² met tuinmeubilair.

Het centrum van New Orleans is erg beloopbaar, maar er zijn nog een paar andere manieren om van de ene plaats naar de andere te gaan. Hier zijn een paar die ik aanbeveel:

Tram: de straat De Charles Streetcar-lijn ligt op slechts 2 huizenblokken van het huis en kan u naar de Franse wijk brengen of in de andere richting door het Garden District en verder naar Uptown. De tram is $ 1. 25 per persoon (exacte verandering vereist.) Je kunt ook een dagkaart kopen die $ 3 is. 00 per persoon alles wat je kunt rijden.

UBER / Lyft: Uber en Lyft zijn allebei geweldige diensten in New Orleans. De stad is geografisch klein, dus de tarieven zijn meestal zeer betaalbaar.

Blue Bikes: New Orleans heeft onlangs het bike share-programma BlueBikes gelanceerd. Er zijn meer dan 70 Blue Bike-stations verspreid over de stad, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om van het ene deel van de stad naar het andere te rijden. De fietsen kosten $ 0. 13 / minuut en zijn evenredig aan de minuut, zodat u alleen wordt gefactureerd voor de rijtijd.

Bachelor Trip Weekend

The location and state of this property were perfect for my bachelor trip weekend. The convenient location made it easy to walk to most bars and restaurants, our walks also allowed us to take in the beauty of St. Charles Ave and Magazine street. We spent most of our time at and about exploring but this wonderful property was exactly what we were hoping for and then some, I had a wonderful time.

Roomy and Clean

This was a great stay for us - travelling for a wedding and bringing my 90-year old father. He stayed in the ground floor bedroom and had his own bathroom. Everyone else stayed upstairs and it worked out really well. The house is well-equipped for large groups and very clean. The check-in process was super easy and the hosts accommodated our late check-in/check-out requests.

The remodeled home was cute, roomy, clean, and within walking distance of the St Charles streetcar line. It was perfect for our family stay. The host was awesome, even accommodated a late check-out request due to a late flight. Highly recommend!

Great Location, Wonderful Home

We reserved this home for a family wedding, and it was perfect for our needs. Although we spent most of the weekend at wedding events, the time we did spend at the house was exactly what we needed. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the upstairs porch and outdoor seating areas. The home comfortably accommodated three couples and two teenagers, with one teen sleeping on the pull-out couch—more of a leather futon than a traditional pull-out, and it worked perfectly.Communication with the property manager was excellent—she was warm, friendly, and went out of her way to assist us. The location was ideal, within walking distance of St. Charles Avenue for easy access to the streetcar and about half a mile from Commander’s Palace, which was a must-visit. We felt completely at home in this lovely, well-appointed house. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Super convenient & central

Came down to Nola for a long weekend with 2 other buddies. This location was great for being a good walk to most attractions, bars and restaurants, but not in the middle of party town. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend for a group of friends or couples who are looking for a quiet spot that’s still close to the action. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

My wife and I meet my two sisters and one husband once a year. We need three bedrooms and three bathrooms. We need a big table to play cards. This house had it all covered. It is conveniently located to trolley cars. The only major issue was no tv for first two days. We had to contact owner to get password. We could have had more coffee pods, also. It is a great place to stsy.

Expectations Exceeded

We had a wonderful stay at this rental which is a beautiful updated & modern home with lots of space and plentiful amenities. The bedrooms were all nice and had very comfortable beds. The location of this house is amazing, easy to get to, good parking and located in a quiet & beautiful neighborhood. Evening strolls around the block were ideal for looking at some of the amazing garden district homes. The short walk to the street car line was a big draw for us. Proximity to the NOLA hotspots was also a plus and it was nice to be able to quickly get to the other major neighborhoods (ie French quarter, warehouse district or CBD) quickly, but be far enough away to not be bothered by the night life scene. The owner was very communicative and accommodating as well and went above and beyond to make our stay nice and comfortable. Highly recommend renting this property to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Convenient & Roomy

Home is conveniently located near streetcar line, close proximity to garden district, downtown and french quarter. Bedrooms are roomy with 2 king and 2 queen beds. Off street parking for 2 vehicles is a plus. Kitchen was missing some basics such as salt, pepper, etc. Storage of kitchen utensils, glassware and pots/pans is somewhat disorganized. A/C system works well to keep entire home cool and comfortable.

Great location for the parade

My family and friends stayed in this property for the St. Patrick's Day Celebrations. We were so happy with the location and comfort of this house. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival with nice touches that other vrbo properties don't always offer (extra toilet paper; toiletries; tea/coffee; cleaning supplies). The beds were super comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The decks and patio were so relaxing to have a morning coffee or evening drink on. The location is perfect with access to the street car and for any parades on St. Charles. Magazine Street is an easy walk with lots of shops and restaurants. Make sure to reach out to Michele, she is a gem and is super helpful. Wish we could have visited her at Shaya, but we ran out of time. Ubers were always quick to arrive. We did some shopping at Rouse's Market, great food store. I would absolutely stay here again, we all had a fantastic time. Thank you very much for allowing us to use your house Tip: Not related to the house but if you get any door dash delivered, make sure to check your order before the driver leaves, we had 2 out of 3 deliveries completely wrong and the drivers are not keen to return to fix the issue.

Big house- great location - very clean and comfortable

This is a great four bedroom house with room for everyone to have their own space or for gathering in the great room and eat big meals together. Comfortable beds, very clean, lots of pots and pans, great porches and outdoor seating area in the back. WiFi was weak but I think they are working on that. Need a few more comfortable places to sit in the living room. Need better shower heads. Overall, though, it was really a great place to stay for a week!!
