We had a lovely stay for a family vacation. The location is excellent and the off street gated parking was perfect. It was nice to have room to spread out and it was a very quiet and safe place to relax. I would just be aware that the unit is upstairs in case there is anyone in your party who can't climb. Also the bedroom curtains were rather sheer so lots of natural light comes in - lovely but also woke up my 9 yo pretty early!

Our family of four enjoyed the beautiful home, fun artwork, and quiet neighborhood as a place to retreat to after exploring New Orleans. Host was easy to work with. Would definitely stay there again!

Worst VRBO Experience-Incorrect Listing

This was listed as "The Entire House". This is a "Triplex" location with owner on the ground floor and 2 duplex units above. All balconies and parking are shared space. Balcony doors (front & back) are busted and are held shut by 2 x 4's and brackets. Some light switches do not function and are broken. Furniture in need of replacement. No access to garden patio, grill, or hot tub (gated off). A lot of phone calls, text messages from owner about things needed for the other unit including parking.This place needs a lot of TLC and updates. Will never book this location ever again. Worst VRBO Experience!!

NOLA Treasure

Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. Amazing location. Quiet street but two blocks from St Charles in one direction and two blocks from Magazine St in the opposite direction. Both with lots of shops and restaurants. The house is cozy with cool eclectic art. The AC works great. The best part is the host. Karen is extremely accommodating and gave us so many great recommendations on restaurants and activities. One of the best host's I've experienced. Can't recommend the property enough.

Great NOLA home in a great location

My group of 5 friends stayed here to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Karen was so kind to meet us when we checked in to acquaint us with the house and the area. There was plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood was quiet, and having dedicated gated parking was a huge plus. It was an easy walk or a short drive to lots of great restaurants and sightseeing. We would stay here again!

Family football weekend

This property was as advertised. Easy access and a perfect location for our needs. We came for a Saints game and the WWll museum. I stayed at this wonderful house with 5 girlfriends for the Taylor Swift concert and our stay was more than easy and enjoyable! Loved it. Perfect for our group. A few kitchen items need attention: the garbage disposal, oven light in the stove, and ice maker in the freezer was frozen. All very minor and did not hamper our thrill with the property. I would suggest it for anyone needing several bedrooms and bathrooms. Karen was responsive to our needs. We came to this property my husband and another couple. Karen the owner was great. We were able to park are vehicle there early and she notified us when the property was ready. The place worked out perfect for us and the rental was actually bigger than we thought it would be. I would highly recommend this property and Karen was great to us.

Authentic New Orleans Home

If you want to experience NOLA, this beautifully decorated and authentic NOLA style home will please you from the first step inside. We immediately appreciated the art, decor, tall ceilings and open air access. Front porches were for a warmer day. We will be back and stay again. Icing on top? The hosts were extra accommodating and so friendly.

Birthday celebration

House was everything we hoped. We were three mid 70s women celebrating our birthdays together. There was plenty of room to sit and talk. Everything was clean and plenty of extra towels, blankets and pillows. Beds were very comfortable. Host who lives downstairs was couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Easy to walk to many places. Good little coffee places in the neighborhood.

Amazing Stay

Karen was so friendly and this place was such a wonderful spot in the Garden District! We were right off great things on Magazine street, the slightly elevated and gated parking came in handy during a rainstorm that turned into a bit of flash flooding, and Karen bought us a few things from the store for our coffee and breakfast beforehand. Would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a great spot with friends!
