Negatief: Voorzieningen, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
It wasn’t our favorite stay. Off the bat we get charged $120 to park for 2 nights. If I’m paying for a hotel room, why am I having to pay additional to park? The hotel looks like something out of a 1980s New Orleans horror movie. Just extremely outdated and in need of renovation. We get to our room and it must’ve been 80°f in there. I turned the ancient thermostat as low as it could go and we left for a couple hours. When we came back the room was still hot and I tried calling the front desk but our phone in the room wasn’t connected. Not to mention, our TV did not work either. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. Anyway, I walk downstairs to the front desk and there’s a line of people all with the same AC problem. 20 minutes later a guy came to adjust our thermostat and it got about 5-10 degrees cooler but that was it. Not to mention, the air conditioner sounded like a jack hammer at a construction site. Outlet in room was dangling off the wall. The walls are also insanely thin. You can hear everyone around you even if they aren’t talking loud at all. Our room was a good distance away from the ice machine and I could still hear my girlfriend on the phone in the room. For what we paid to stay here during Mardi Gras, I expected a lot better.
