The property is perfectly in the middle of everything. It’s a quick trip to the French Quarter, Bourbon St, and over to the Westbank. We used to live in Gretna back in 2008 so it was nice to be pretty central to everything. The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. Would book again.

Nice spot close to Tulane. Friendly neighbors for sure talked to a few and one gave me some Pelicans gear. Had a crazy noise complaint that I still don’t understand but we loved the vibe and the neighbors partying on the weekend. Super New Orleans.

The apartment was nice and the amenities were sufficient, but the neighborhood was not. Unfortunately the reviews about the area, that I read prior to my stay, were not wrong. The neighborhood is not walkable at night and is run-down. Neighbors across the street let their dogs bark at all hours, which is not the owner’s fault, of this property, but not ideal at 6 am. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was quiet otherwise. But, the street the house is located on is not worth the stay. I woke up one morning to the sound of both dogs barking and sheep. I looked outside and there were these random sheep (in an urban neighborhood), running around.

It was a really nice place to stay at. My girlfriend and 2 buddies stayed and we loved it. Very roomy and had all the amenities we needed. Felt right at home from the very start. Matt was a really good host. Overall it was an awesome stay. Definitely be coming back here again.

Great for what we needed

We had a good stay! The home was clean and in a convenient location close to where we needed to be. Matthew was incredibly responsive and made sure we were taken care of — even when a few minor issues with the toilet came up, he addressed them quickly. The streets need work and the neighborhood was a but worn. Additional note: This is a 2Bath but only 1 shower.That said, the property itself was comfortable, and Matthew’s attentiveness made a difference.

Be more transparent

The place was beautiful. I don’t recall reading it was on the second floor. The dishwasher was broken. There was no rack to allow dishes to dry since we had to hand wash them. There were no drying towels so we used paper towels. There was no table to sit at. There was dog hair all over the sofa. The next day when the cleaning agent scent wore off, it was replaced with the scent of dogs. The neighbors were nice but the neighborhood was scary with potholes that could damage a car. The parking was not good. It was embarrassing to have people travel so far to be uncomfortable.
