Perfecte centrale locatie maakt het verkennen van New Orleans gemakkelijk en betaalbaar. Historische Bayou St. John is een van de veiligste en meest gewilde buurten van New Orleans.

Slechts een mijl snel Uber / Lyft naar French Quarter! Home is ook op loopafstand van het Jazz Fest, Bayou, City Park, Street Car, geweldige restaurants, live muziek, kermissen en casino.

Begin je ochtenden op slechts een steenworp afstand in het beroemde CC's Coffee House met de beste koffie en king cakes van New Orleans!

Eenmalige straatparkeerplaats voorzien en voldoende gratis parkeergelegenheid op straat direct voor het huis! Geen bewonerssticker nodig op het blok voor parkeren op straat.

Fiets overal in New Orleans. Een 24 uur huurstand in New Orleans "Blue Bike" is een blok van het huis. Fietsen kunnen overal in de stad worden afgezet.

Dit grote historische huis werd gebouwd als een klassieke "Shot Gun" spoorwegstijl en later gerenoveerd om drie privé-slaapkamers en twee volledige badkamers te bieden.

De master bedroom suite heeft een queensize bed en bijgevoegde ligbad. De 2e slaapkamer heeft nog een koningin en de derde slaapkamer heeft twee tweelingen. 2e ligbad is uit de centrale gang. Aerobedden op aanvraag.

De woning heeft een grote keuken en een prachtige eetkamer. Mooie meubels zijn onder andere walnoot-grange-stukken uit Frankrijk. Er zijn 3 wand-tv's. Snelle en betrouwbare wifi. Netflix, HBO on Demand, DVR en streaming dvd-spelers voor elke geleverde tv.

Aan de oevers van Bayou St. John, de buurt staat bekend om zijn architectuur, muziek, weelderige parken, prachtige waterwegen en fantastische gerechten.

This was a great location. We loved the house. Air and heat worked as it should.The hosts had listed restaurants,and grocery stores. It is close to a casino, race track. Close to French Quarter.We were able to walk and tour a cemetery. We wished the back yard would have had a clean table and chairs. My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay.

Property is outstanding. Clean, comfortable. Kitchen was large enough that multiple people could work on meal prep at once. High end appliances and the dishes, glassware and utensils are all in excellent conditions. Convenient to have a qasher and dryer on site. The shotgun style of the house is a great experience. Plenty of room so everyone could have space. The neighborhood is great with restaurants in walking distance. City Park was a great walk and has many things to do. The French Quarter is a short drive but consider Lyft or Uber as parking is not plentiful and the parking time limits are not great to deal with. I would recommend this home to anyone for a great stay

Like a home away from home. The home was beautiful and the updated kitchen amazing. It was a very comfortable neighborhood, great location, and never an issue with parking. The hosts are lovely. Can't say enough good things and we would definitely stay there again.

I genuinely enjoyed everything about my stay at this property. From the time we pulled up into the neighborhood, I felt at home. The property was amazing and spacious, very clean and the hosts were very accommodating. 3 of us stayed and each of us had space for ourselves. The kitchen was great- we were able to cook breakfast and enjoy it comfortably that morning before preparing for the festival. Everything about my experience was peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again!

Stunning Home in Adorable & Safe Neighborhood

We have stayed here before and keep coming back! Such a charming home and so well maintained. One of the best rentals we have ever enjoyed throughout the country. The welcoming, eclectic neighborhood has a wonderful vibe. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants and coffee shops. We leave the car at the house (great parking!) and Uber around New Orleans. Only 5-10 minutes to the French Quarter. Can't say enough about this home! Thank you!

Great stay near the Bayou

We found the property to be one of the nicer places we have stayed through VRBO and other similar short-term rental providers. Andrew and Lori provided everything we could have needed, including extra body wash, towels, laundry detergent, etc. the instructions they provided ahead of our stay were very comprehensive and accurate.We got to meet Lori and she was very nice and gave us some more info about the neighborhood. By the way, the neighborhood is nice and quiet and we walked to a number of the local restaurants and bars. Parking is available on the street and most of the time we did not have any issues parking right in front of the house. Spaces are “enforced” through neighborly agreement but as there are some other rentals on the street, not everyone honors the “reserved” spots. Even so, we only had an issue twice and that just meant parking 1/2 a block away. No big deal and did not in any way diminish our experience. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting NOLA, especially if being in the Mid-City/Bayou/Fairgrounds area is something they would like to do. It was also very easy to get around town from there.

Heavenly hideaway

We had questions and the host contacted us immediately and answered us fully. They also made several recommendations for restaurants snd music all of which we tried and loved. The property was even better the described or the pictures show. Clean doesn't say it well enough. Spotless, sparkling home with fresh crisp linens, fluffy huge towels and so comfortable. High ceilings, beautiful furnishings, whisper quiet air conditioning and convenience items like basics cleaning and consumable items, paper towels, trash bags well supplied. We traveled very early day and the host allowed us to make arrangements to stow our luggage so we could spend the day sightseeing ... they were so kind and helpful it was like traveling to stay with old friends. There was more than adequate parking and we were in proximity to all the french quarter offers but in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable and the soaking tub amazing after a long day the 2nd bathroom had a luxury, huge glassed in shower and towels were thick and plentiful. Laundry room was well stocked and so helpful to freshen all out items before packing for home. A lovely stay. Highly recommend and are planning to return and rebook in the fall 2024.

Ladies Birthday Trip

Our group traveled to New Orleans to celebrate two birthdays as one of the birthday girls had never been to New Orleans. This location was great as it was close to the airport, Canal Street, French Quarter, French Market and an area we were told about that in all my trips to New Orleans I had never heard about. If you like live music and a little more mature crowd visit Frenchmen Street. The house was homey and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The owners of the home were a pleasure to work with, very communicative and helpful in answering questions about the area. If you are visiting New Orleans I would recommend this home for your stay.

Andrew was very attentive and prompt to answer any questions I had. The shotgun house was converted to have private bedrooms and is as described. The neighbor is very cute and a typical middle class NOLA neighborhood. It’s location is ideal to get around to all the hot spots.

A Must Stay in New Orleans

Great house, great location, great host. Couldn’t have been happier with this place. Host was very responsive and informative both before and during our stay. Only downside was the back yard wasn’t conducive to kids playing; just rocky.

Perfect !

From start to finish we had an amazing trip. Contacted host for lunch recommendation nearby as were arriving early and he immediately offered us an early check-in. East access with door code. House was even better than photos. Amazing kitchen with great appliances. We were in town for Tulane graduation and this was an easy 12minute Uber to both the college and French Quarter. Bedrooms very comfortable and so quiet - we all slept well. Bathrooms modern and spacious. Nice size dining table perfect for 4 of us. Living room could have used an extra chair - not a lot of room even with just 4 of us but that was such a non-issue when everything else was so comfortable and inviting. Hope we can book again for a family wedding next Spring. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat in this energetic wonderful city.

Cutest house in the best neighborhood!

The house was perfect for our stay! It was the perfect location for Jazz Fest and we were able to walk to and from the festival every day. The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group. Lori and Andrew were amazing hosts!
