'We had a great stay at the Chalet. It was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings were very inviting. The Chalet is a quick 10-15 minute drive from all the dining and shopping in Jim Thorpe. We went back and forth a few times and it was super easy. Would definitely recommend staying here! We'll be back in the warmer (less icey) weather to do some hiking and more exploring! '

'The owner needs to visit the property and give it an overall cleaning and update. It seems this is being rented out while being renovated. There was mail in the box and a package on the steps that gave the impression the property had not been visited in a bit. The dead bird on the front walk way had been there awhile too (Owner was responsive in having someone remove it). The batteries are low on the keyless entree. 'Great property in a private community about 5 miles up the hill from downtown Jim Thorpe. Community features a pool, lake, pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts all of which are about a 5 minute walk from the house. We rented the six person golf cart that was at the house as well which was good for getting kids and the dog around.The backyard was great for hanging out with a fire pit, sauna, and hot tub. 'Artsy, quirky decor. In a beautiful spot with great views and places to gather - big kitchen, living room with lots of seating and a fabulous covered deck. Perfect for families or groups. A good layout with bedrooms and a full bathroom on each of the first and second floors. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was very clean'
