"Dit hotel is echt een aanrader. Via de metro zit je met een paar minuten in het centrum van New York. Onze kamer zat op de 21e verdieping en we hadden een fantastisch uitzicht over de skyline van Manhattan! Kamer was nieuw en schoon. Het ontbijt is simpel en je eet van wegwerp bordjes, wegwerp bestek en bekers, maar volgens mij is dat het concept. Prima voor een paar dagen. "

"Elke dag moest je minimaal 15 minuten op de lift wachten. Bij de incheck zeer onvriendelijk. Prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding erg zoek, kamers klein en ontzettend sober. De locatie was niet optimaal, overal ver vandaan. "

"I would say that Hotel 1080 is fine to go to with a group of friends rather than a family. Just below the hotel there is a bar and a small garden where they hold parties till 2 am or sometimes even 4 am. Since there is barely any soundproofing you will definitely hear that all night long, you can even hear footsteps from rooms above you which also gets quite annoying. Often around the area or maybe even inside the hotel people smoke marijuana and the result is that either your hotel room or your bathroom smells like marijuana in the morning. The room service on the other hand is quite good and cleaning ladies are also very polite. Except for one rude girl at the reception, most staff members are respectful and friendly. So if you’re looking for a simple hotel with some friends this hotel is a good fit, however if you’re coming with your family and you want some good sleep after a long day this isn’t the most ideal option."
