Prima te doen naar TS, alleen de hoek om lopen. Starbucks op 1 minuut afstand lopen. Elke ochtend koffie en thee. Zeer behulpzaam personeel. Mooi hotel, en schoon!

Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Handig gelegen bij metro, Times Square, Central Park, 5th Avenue. Als je de airco juist instelt is er geen probleem. Hotel aan te raden.

Very nice people in the reception and at the door of the hotel. Close by Times Square, theaters, shops and Central Park but just far from the noise of the big city, I loved my stay in this hotel

Two things I didn't like: 1) the air conditioning on the facade of the building is set up in such a way that there is constant humming coming from behind the window. I even had to ask for ear plugs at the reception, because I couldn't fall asleep on the first night. Later we kind of got used to it. 2) the TV set is quite old and doesn't have HDMI input. So I couldn't connect my laptop to watch things that I wanted. Everything else was on the top level: room cleaning, reception, engineer coming to help us with the batteries for the TV remote control and explaining why humming comes from the AC. The shower room/toilet was also better than in another hotel where we had stayed. There was also a huge mirror in the room which took a lot of space next to the bed. As if making love in front of it under the humming of AC was the only thing we could think of.

Kamer is niet schoongemaakt. We konden wel schone handdoeken en andere benodigdheden ophalen bij de receptie. bedden te zacht en veels te smal. ( 140x200)

Heerlijke week gehad in dit hotel met mijn vrouw en de twee meiden van 17 en 18. Dichtbij o.m. Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Fifth Avenue en Broadway. Maar hotel toch in een rustige straat. Geen last gehad van geluid 's nachts, ruime kamer met airco. Geen ontbijt maar overal in de buurt diners en deli's. Doorman Jeff is geweldig. Erg vriendelijk en vol met tips!

Fijne plek dicht bij een groot aantal bezienswaardigheden in NYC. De metro is makkelijk op loopafstand, dus een perfecte plek voor een bezoek aan de Big Apple.

Perfecte locatie, hotel proper maar niet 'wow'. Kamers met oud tapijt. Bed was wel heel comfortabel. Zeker een 7/10.

The front desk upgraded us to a larger room (possibly because an ADA accessible room was available) which was unexpected and very nice after a long travel day. The room was the quietest hotel room I've had in a NYC hotel in years! Also, it is unique in that the halls, elevators, etc do not smell like pot smoke. Every NYC hotel (except top tier I guess) stinks, but this one doesn't. So, two big pluses for this property!

It was very centrally loacted for the things that we had planned to do. Right in Times Square and only a few blocks to Central Park. We arrived before check-in, but since they had a room that was ready they allowed us to go ahead and drop our luggage off at our room and freshen up before heading out to explore.

I’ve travelled from Kingston, Ontario to New York City twice in the past year. I stayed at The Ameritania both times. The rooms are reasonably priced, quiet and quite spacious. The beds are soft and very comfortable. The hotel is clean and the staff are kind and helpful. The location is convenient in that it’s an easy walk to Times Square, shopping, restaurants and theatre. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great experience at the Ameritania for a long weekend. The staff were always helpful and we enjoyed the coffee each morning before heading out. The Cascades at 8th and 54th was convenient and had delicious cheesecake. Other shopping and necessities close by and transportation was easy any way that we tried.

The hotel was perfect for this trip, the only thing is that the room thqt was assigned to me was not like the one that I choose, according to the pictures. This one, even though it has a queen bed there is no way that you can accomodate two people in it without steping on each other.... I had to shower with the door open due to the size of the bathroom. It was a big closet not a hotel room.

The location is unbeatable. A quick walk to everything: Broadway shows, Carnegie Hall, museums, Central Park, restaurants and subway stations. The doorman and restricted elevator access made me feel feel confident that only guests were coming through the hotel. Generous-sized waiting lobby with comfortable furniture. All staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
