Victorian Secrets is een unieke uitje-ervaring. Deze 1897 Oregon-historische-register huis ligt majestueus op een buurt hoekperceel grenzend aan twee andere Victoriaanse huizen. Er is iets speciaals dat voorbijgangers vaak tegenhoudt om dit betoverende huis te bewonderen. Stap binnen en ontdek de geheimen van binnen. Moderne, eclectische afwerkingen en meubels gecombineerd met originele architectonische details verwelkomen bezoekers snel in een comfortabele en intrigerende ruimte. Alle kamers hebben nog steeds dezelfde locatie en hetzelfde doel als het historische ontwerp. Elke kamer drukt een verrassend "geheim" uit dat gegarandeerd zal plezieren.

Kwaliteit en comfort is het basisthema: WOONKAMER met veel zitplaatsen, slimme tv met groot scherm, Bluetooth-stereoluidspreker, luchtprinter en games; Samenwerkende en goed uitgeruste KEUKEN compleet met 50's Vintage gasfornuis, moderne koelkast / vriezer, wijnkoeler, 5-barkruk en nog veel meer; 4 SLAAPKAMERS allemaal uitgerust met royale queensize dekmatrassen - niet te zacht en niet te hard -, linnengoed met hoge draadtelling en twee kamers hebben een smart-tv; BADKAMERS bieden antieke klauwpoot bad / douche of inloop betegelde douche, veel weelderig badlinnen en een make-up ijdelheid, verwarmde tegelvloeren; Centrale airconditioning en een continu hete tankloze boiler zorgen voor een aangenaam verblijf! Verblijven langer dan 2 dagen hebben toegang tot een WASRUIMTE met nieuw model stapelwasmachine en droger. BUITEN beschikt over een overdekt en open terras en prachtig aangelegde tuin, gas roestvrij BBQ met rotisserie functie en twee 21-speed toerfietsen met sloten en helmen. De toegangsdeur aan de buitenkant heeft een sleutelloze toegang tot de code, waardoor elke gast van de reservering vrijheid heeft voor zelf inchecken en eenvoudige / veilige in-en-uit-huistoegang. Parkeren voor maximaal 5 voertuigen op de oprijlaan. Extra parkeren op straat is beschikbaar. Picknickbenodigdheden, paraplu's en herbruikbare boodschappentassen zijn enkele onthouden details.

Binnen twee blokken is het hart van het centrum van Newberg met coffeeshops, nationaal bekroonde en uitzonderlijke verscheidenheid aan restaurants, wijnproeflokalen, kunstgalerij, cultureel centrum, Hoover Park, George Fox University, bioscoop (inclusief een ongewone en historische rit -in) & live theater, antiekwinkels, president Herbert Hoover jeugd (Minthorn) thuis en nog veel meer! Korte ritten bieden gemakkelijke toegang tot een veelheid aan wijnhuizen, de kust van Oregon, het centrum van Portland, casino's, de schilderachtige Columbia Gorge en Mount Hood en TONS of Oregon lekkernijen.

Als u vrij wilt rijden, kunt u eenvoudig Lift / Uber / Taxi's en aangrenzende Limousine-services in gebruik nemen. Vele andere diensten zijn beschikbaar om uw verblijf speciaal te maken.

In town for a wedding, we were incredibly comfortable staying at this home and lacked for nothing except more time here! Convenient location for all things downtown Newberg (walking distance of several restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops) and surrounding area. We felt as though we moved into someone's home they vacated for the weekend! We found everything (and more) that we needed for three couples to stay under one roof. The house is beautiful inside and out. We utilized the outdoor space extensively for conversation and quite enjoyment of the beautifully manicured yard and water feature. We felt safe and pampered here. Several special touches around the house speak to how extensively the hostess pours into every detail. Would stay here again and recommend highly for adults.

We couldn’t believe our eyes as soon as we set foot inside Victorian Secrets! What an amazingly beautiful home that had everything we needed. Our host really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed. From the little personalized touches to the welcoming bread and jam, we were just in awe of everything. The house itself is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown and within a short driving distance to some of the local wineries. After exploring the area, it was so nice to come back and relax in this tranquil and peaceful home. We loved watching the hummingbirds while having our morning coffee and trying out the miniature golf course! Thanks for making our girls’ getaway so enjoyable and memorable!

Perfect Rental

The attention to detail in this rental is amazing. There are adaptors if you need them, toothbrushes if you need them, labels and directions for everything and plenty of outlets in all the rooms. The towels are super-fluffy and the bedding is comfortable. Everything (light, appliances, plumbing, etc) works without any sort of cajoling at all. And to top it all off, the place is squeaky-clean. We also appreciated the little details—water in the fridge, a bottle of welcome wine, the wine cups in the freezer. We had a great time.

Perfect Family Get-Away

Our group had a fantastic time at Victorian Secrets! The house was in the perfect location in Newberg, and we had everything we needed for cooking for the crew. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were extremely well stocked. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed for cooking breakfast and dinner. We also walked into town in the AM for lattes and mochas, and in the afternoon/evening for wine tastings and dinner. Our host added extra touches that made the whole experience even more special and checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. We were extremely pleased and will stay here again in the future!

A Whimsical Retreat Full of Charm and Thoughtful Touches

Victorian Secrets was even better than the photos promised. Each room was a delightful surprise filled with personality, comfort, and charm. Our group of eight felt instantly at home in this beautifully curated space. The fully equipped kitchen made both cooking in and ordering out easy, and the whimsical décor kept us exploring every nook with wonder.The outdoor area was a true highlight. We spent hours enjoying the putting green, relaxing in the covered seating area, and unwinding to the sound of the tranquil water feature. Each bedroom was unique and inviting. Despite the variation in size, everyone felt well taken care of.Our host, Rachel, was outstanding. She was responsive, warm, and proactive without ever being intrusive. She made thoughtful suggestions, such as having BBQ waiting for our late arrival, and added personalized touches that made the stay feel incredibly special.The town of Newberg is a gem, with great restaurants and scenic drives that rounded out our perfect stay. We can't wait to return.

We feel so lucky to have stayed in this beautiful home. It is decorated with so many interesting details, yet it is so very welcoming and comfortable. Rachel provided excellent communication and information regarding the house and the area. Perfection Perfected

We were a group of three couples visiting to enjoy wine country and the rodeo. We have stayed in many VRBOs through the years, and have had many wonderful experiences, and can truly say Rachel's home and the level of care she shows for her guests far exceeds anything we've experienced before. Her communication leading up to our stay was excellent, and she made many wonderful suggestions for things to do while we were there– even going as far as researching events in neighboring towns. Upon arrival, we were delighted to be greeted by a lovely bottle of wine, gourmet chocolates, cheese, and crackers, personalized water bottles, fresh flowers in every room, chargers by our bedsides, and handwritten notes. Check in was a piece of cake and the instructions left for Wi-Fi, TV, and explanations of things we might need were very clear and complete. There was not one want or need we had that she hadn't already anticipated and provided for. Checking out was simple and quick. You can tell the home and gardens are a labor of love for her. This is no generic vacation home! The outdoor seating area and gardens are absolutely gorgeous, and the home is filled with lovely art and beautiful touches throughout. Thank you, Rachel, for making us feel so welcome!

Eclectic property for a perfect stay

My friends and visited Victorian Secrets during the wine portion of our girls trip. The place was exactly as pictured and described. The host was lovely and super responsive. She anticipated our every need and provided personal touches throughout our stay. There are plenty of places for groups to relax and the house is close to town which was very walkable. The host provided recommendations which were all amazing. Next time, rather than staying in Portland, we would stay at the Victorian Secrets and commute to anything we would want in Portland. Location was perfect for wine tasting and is an easy drive to Portland. Suggest using this as a good home base for an Oregon adventure. This was a perfect stay and the property was lovely and absolutely charming. The personal touches made us feel so welcome.

Loved this beautiful Victorian home! Very clean, the decor is nicely done and many unique fun things to discover around the home. The host has put a lot of thought into things you would need to have a nice, comfortable stay. The porch, patio, manicured garden and trees, the putt putt area makes it complete. 7 of us stayed here and we all enjoyed our stay! The host was easy to contact and truly a great host! Location was great too! Near the town area and a nice community. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing time at Victorian Secrets

Excellent stay and attention to details

We had a wonderful stay at Rachel's house. She was very responsive to questions and so accommodating. She offered to pick up groceries for us to stock the refrigerator. We even had cupcakes waiting for us as we were celebrating a graduation. It was a lovely visit and the beds were so comfortable. The house had every amenity you could imagine. We will stay at this location again. Thank you!
