'Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. 'A superb location with lovely garden views. Very serene, grand setting. Our room was in the China wing, beautiful room, very cosy. The common lounge room was inviting and grand, in fact the whole place is grand! Breakfast was excellent, select a cooked choice from the menu. Cereal, toast and juice alway available at buffet. Staff are lovely and well received at reception. Plenty of car parking. A delightful stay. Will stay longer next time. Love it.'
