'I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!'

'Room had duct tape on the floor holding the carpet down, bathroom door had holes in it where hooks use to be, room was damp and musty, chair was in disrepair, call from front desk at 11pm stating smoking was occuring in the room (malfunctioning fire protection equipment), outlets intermittently worked.'

'We stayed that this hotel for a last minute sports competition. The hotel was terribly outdated. The room seamed not very clean (dust in corners), with old worn linens (which did seem clean/ washed). The hallway smelled musty and the carpet was outdated and worn. In some places where the carpet had worn through, you could see the older carpet underneath it. It took me several minutes to figure out how to get the fridge to work (it was plugged into the power strip, which was plugged into the...

'This Viking Village is fantastic. There is so much eye for details, you really enter a different world. We had a great time there and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The house has everything you need, and is very comfortable. The guide inside the house with tips and suggestions for visiting and eating/drinking in the area is very comprehensive and helpful. Do not mis this place when you are in the area. '

'Good location for a quiet place. This is an okay summer stop. No AC on a hot June day was hard as well as it was very buggy inside the windowsills. I realize it is more of a rustic, true Vermont lodge idea just wanted people to be aware. I am sure in the fall and winter when it is busier it is a completely different location.'

'We had a wonderful weekend. Inn is a little dated but very cute. Room was clean and we sat out on our balcony with wine at night and coffee in the morning. Needed a dusting but comfortable. I would stay there again and recommend it to those traveling. Great location.'

'Beautiful renovated mansion on the outskirts of town. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent. Only complaint is our room, #10, was above the mechanical system which shook the room and rattled the lamp on the nightstand next to the bed.'
