'This was my second stay here at Meadow view Cottage. Beautiful garden with a great place to sit at the end to chill with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Plenty of pubs to choose from, a great Indian restaurant (Onion Bhaji) and a great walk from Long Melford to Sudbury along the tree lined disused old railway track.'

'I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected. The undercounter lights flashed on...

'Our third time in this cosy cottage. As before, everything was perfect. The cottage is comfortable with a big garden, very well equipped and located conveniently close to a train station (Dullingham) for visits to Cambridge etc. We also enjoyed a dinner in the local pub, The Bull, and long walks in the area. People here are really friendly and welcoming. A big Thank You to Robbie for being such a great host! We enjoyed our stay a lot, and will be back.'

'Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. It stank and the noise of the macerator and vent was horribly noisy. Paymán expected me to stay let a handyman try and fixit.he was due to get to me in an hour. I had arrived at 5:40 at 6:50they...

'Wij verbleven met ons gezin (3 personen) in de cottage van Andy. De cottage is gezellig en goed ingericht. De omgeving is landelijk en je kunt er mooie wandelingen maken. Het is zeer prettig dat er een achtertuin is. Verder is de keuken goed ingericht, er is een wasmachine aanwezig en een open haard. Vanuit deze locatie zit je zo in Cambridge, ook zijn Oxford en Londen met de auto goed bereikbaar (plus minus 50 miles). 'Rose Cottage is een gezellige woning met goed sanitair en keuken en ruime slaapkamers/ Ook nog een leuk tuintje achter en oprit voor. Het dorp Woolpit is echt aan te raden. Veel voorzieningen en vriendelijke mensen. Typisch Engels in de sfeer van Miss Marple en Midsomer Murders :). Bury St Edmunds op een paar km afstand viel echt tegen behalve dan de mooie Abbey ruine en tuin. De stad zelf stelt niets voor. 'We booked for a special occasion and the cottage was perfectly located to walk to our venue - Ely Cathedral. The cottage was lovely and clean with everything we needed. My only regret is that the weather prevented us from seeing the cottage in the warm sunshine. The owners were wonderfully helpful when we had a little hiccup with the hot water - coming over to help despite it being a Friday night. Thank you to them. 'A lovely little stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. It's pretty basic but once you've got the heater going, it's lovely. A beautiful lake to look out onto with parking next to you, it's pretty decent. '

'We were a party of 13/15 people and stayed for a weekend break at Pattiswick Hall. We had a fabulous time and would love to return someday. The hall easily accommodated our party and the rooms were spacious and clean - the grounds were lovely and secluded. Highly recommended for a large family gathering'
