'Staff were excellent'

'Very quiet location close to all amenities. Stairs may be difficult for less able people. Garden could be lovely, with some work. Car park charges have Increased to £7. , not £4.50'

'Excellent room with air conditioning which was a boon. Facilities were also excellent. Breakfast was good and parking on the premises. Would stay there again.'

'My room was a lovely suite with its own kitchen and sofa. I think furniture lay out could be changed so you could watch TV from the sofa rather than just the bed. My TV didn’t work the first night but the staff fixed it the second night, and offered me another room if they couldn’t. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Hot food cooked fresh. The hotel is more central than I thought so easy to walk into town along the river or even to the large garden centre. A big downside is my room was...

'Quirky cottage, absolutely everything you would need for a long stay. Parking is a bit tricky but Sue the owner provides information on where to park. Handy for the Spoons 😊😊'

'The rooms come with the charm of an old building, so you will have improvise a little. But possible disappointment by entering the premises is immediately forgotten after meeting with the owner/hotelmanager and tasting the food he serves. He really cares about people and makes you soon feel at home. Value for price too!'

'Room was bright and clean. Breakfast was fine. Location was good. Unfortunately there was an awful damp smell from the bathroom that permeated the whole bedroom. I was only there for a night so i didn't complain, but it's in need of some maintenance.'
