'This was a splurge reservation at the end of our ten days in Tanzania. What a treat that was-especially after struggling with Internet and other “missing” items at other properties. Everything about the Neptune property was first rate from the furnishings to the food to the convenience and the staff.
Yes, the price point was higher than we normally spend but truly if you get what you pay for, the price seems justified. At Neptune we received what we paid for and then some!'

'As the name would imply, the hotel is located uphill from the main street of the town. The rooms were spacious and were separated by a wall, so each person had their own section. The bathroom was an issue as the toilet, sink and shower were all in the same place, so that if someone had a shower, the whole floor would get wet. Staff was friendly but to communicate was hard because of the poor understanding of englisch.

'It was excellent. The grounds are beautiful. The the food is superb. The room is large it had two king size bed and a fireplace a sitting area. we stayed at this Four Season in the Serengeti. this was comparable for a lot less money. I would stay here again. In fact, we extended our stay one day just to enjoy the service and the food. It is definitely a jewel.'
'We had a beautiful stay at Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge. The staff was wonderful and very kind, especially Jumo. A portion of the money from your stay goes to the children's home located next to the hotel, which you are able to visit while staying there. The area and view around the hotel are beautiful, however there is a bumpy uphill road to reach the hotel. The dining room is a beautiful space as well and we had a wonderful meal there! '

We rented a dud 4x4 and it would not start after we checked in - but Eli jumped in an d organized mechanics to come and then drove with us to take the car to the mechanics once they had gotten a new battery in. The car had no brake or transmission fluids and an corroded alternator wire - Eli stayed at the mechanic while we got some food next door

'We had a wonderful experience staying at NJIA Panda tented lodge. The property is only about two years old, so everything in in great condition. We were the only guests one of the two nights and received exceptional service. The meals were great with serving sizes so large we were never able to finish. We initially had issues getting hot water and the staff immediately had a team out and got it fixed in no time at all. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.'
