'This is a great place to stay if you are spending any time around Mendota. Vickie, the host, is a very accommodating and thoughtfully detailed person who thinks about all kinds of situations that a guest could want or need. The home is spacious and very clean. This is definitely a 5 star host. We will be back.'

'The cabin was cozy, peaceful, and a nice place to get away from the usual hustle and bustle. The surroundings were beautiful, and it was great to have a quiet space to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin itself was comfortable and had a charming atmosphere. One downside was that there was no TV, which may not matter to everyone, but it would have been nice to have an option for entertainment in the evenings. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good choice for anyone looking for a quiet getaway,...

'The property was amazing. Full of history and rustic charm. Almost like getting to spend the night at a museum. Jeff is a great host with lots of history facts about the house. We look forward to our next opportunity to stay at the homestead. The kids are already requesting to stay on our Thanksgiving trip. Peaceful porch sitting and beautiful views.'

'We really enjoyed our stay. The Dolly themed interior was fabulous and gave the home so much character and charm. The house was spotless when we arrived, and it was clear that great care is taken to keep it clean and welcoming. Communication was excellent throughout our stay.
