'Wow!! An incredible find- book now!! The staff is incredible & hospitality always with a joy filled smile. Incredibly well decorated with amazing combination of Nubian & Greek influence. Actually met the designer, she works at the hotel & I praised her on the decor!! Food was good, large portions & fresh. Walked the village with bright colored homes, market shops & camels. Bed were comfortable. Views spectacular!!'

The building itself is unbelievable, built with taste and lot attention to the details, wooden balconies and windows, the place in itself a journey back to the past. 'Great stay, lovely pool with the greatest Nile view, and all staff is so kind and service-oriented, from the reception desk, to the gardemers, from security to barkeeper. You feel at home! Our room was comfortable, the only issue is the fact that there is a mosque nearby, and the morning prayers are early and loud, and the room is not very soundproof... But, this is clearly compensated by all the positives.'

'The shuttle is really convenient because it is far away from the airport. It is a tiny place, nothing fancy or luxurious. The people are super kind and helpful. The restaurant near the Nile is beautiful, and the food is so tasty. If you like to disconnect from everything with no pretension, this is the place. It needs a bit of maintenance, but it is a comfortable place.'
